Been hearing rumours recently that some high profile "seizures" were in the pipeline and lo and behold,
HDN broke the story today - Yıldız Holding, who own Ülker are being investigated over links to FETO. They of course have denied this.
Just think, if they do seize Yıldız, every time you buy a packet of Jaffa Cakes in Tesco, Asda etc you'd then be putting money in the wee fella's pocket (indirectly of course).
What a wheeze this state of emergency is - fourteen billion
lira (oops) DOLLARS so far in seized company assets. And the best part about it for the government is that any loans, mortgages etc these companies had have to be paid by the original owners! The seized companies are considered to debt free. Erdonomics at its best.
