Denizli info requiered please

Can any wise one help on this one ?.
I understand there are twice weekly flights from Gatwick planned to Denizli next year via a Istanbul airport which will drop off and take on passengers then go on to Denizli airport with prices around £150 return .
How far is denizli from fethiye .
what are transport links like to fethiye.

THY and Pegasus already fly to Denizli from Istanbul, have done for years, so booking through from London, Manchester or Edinburgh already exists with a change.

It's a good three or four hour drive to Fethiye as the airport isn't in Denizli itself but Cardamom, about fifty miles away.

It's about 150 miles. There's a regular bus service between Denizli and Fethiye but I'm not sure about the services between the airport and Denizli.

Avis, Hertz and a couple of Turkish companies have got rental offices on or near the airport. You might be able to arrange one-way hire.

I was interested in this proposed route as it states you stay on the plane at Istanbul , BUT !50 miles drive is beyond me I think, but we could do stops in any villages we come across so we could then see the real turkey

I was curious what it was like to take a trip from Istanbul to Fethiye by road and this passed through Denizli. There were miles and miles of dry, hot dusty plains with mountains in the far distance. Sometimes we passed a little shack but it was a very featureless journey. Denizli had a railway but at the time it was for freight only.
