Turkish Wedding

I have an invite to a Turkish Wedding in Denizli. I have a light faun coloured suit. Is this okay for an English male?

In most Turkish weddings (well the ones that I've been to anyway!) the guest dress code is fairly informal so your suit will be fine.....

We've been to Turkish weddings where males, even the bride's father and brothers, haven't changed out of their work clothes after a day in the fields.

As others have said - been to 2 and dont recall seeing many in suits other than the groom!

What with being called donkey and having a suit that is half human/half goat you are a regular menagerie!

Have been to Turkish weddings, they have the food in the afternoon, and dance in
the evening, went to one, and some of the folks turned up on tractors.
No booze, but we had a good night, and a laugh.
The weddings are mostly held in the street, all the tables and chairs are across the road
so no traffic can get down.I believe the brides not allowed to look happy because she is
leaving her parents,[so I was told]

Thanks to all. Some good advice.  Sounds like I may be overdressed. Perhaps I should get my tractor driving outfit out!
This Wedding is over four days. The brides family (who I know) seem to be hosting the first day and the grooms family the last day.
I don't really want to stay all the time, as I will be the only English person there and will feel a bit of a fish out of water.
I guess it would be alright to just go on the first day, what do you think ?

      A bit of a giveaway is the lace around the top of the brides wellies.

My wedding was in a hall and beautifully laid out. I definitely didn't turn up in a tractor, nor my guests maybe it's different for village weddings as opposed to a city or town wedding. Many of my guests wore suits especially my hubbys friends. I weren't expected to look miserable ( can't speak for some of the guests)  I actually i didn't stop smiling and dancing. Great night.
