Its been fairly well reported that the government is not going to renew the state of emergency regulations when they expire at midnight tonight.
Cause for celebration? Nope.
In simple terms, all they've done is amended existing legislation to include a high proportion of the "state of emergency" powers, all under the guise of anti terror legislation - clever little rascals that they are.
Now that the wee fella is the all powerful supreme leader, he doesn't need the presidential powers granted by the state of emergency, he's now in charge of everything, in fact not only is it his ball, its his goalposts, his players and his referee...
