Avacado plants
« on: June 26, 2019, 10:00:57 AM »
Hello lovely people!

I’m redoing my garden (slowly) and would like to find some avacado trees.  Would anyone know if they are available locally?  I’m not great at starting them from seed & even if I managed one, I don’t know how it would withstand flying/customs.

Thank you very much in advance!

Ps. I wonder if I actually, after 20 years, spoke to one of you outside the alteration shop

Yes available locally you need a male and female plant to get fruit though, but apparently you can also get a hybrid variety which is self pollinating...

Pompeylee- on website, it said they could take up to 15 years to fruit if one started them by seed....I’m too impatient for that.  Thank you very much all....at least I know we can get them there!
