delayed luggage
« on: June 08, 2010, 21:44:38 PM »
my luggage was delayed for two days with onur air  on my last visit,on my outbound journey.I struggled on for 2 days(like a lady would)and hoped to claim some  slight compensation on my return.
I am not covered with the airline but i am with my travel insurance.
Apparently i could have spent up to £250 if i had bought goods and kept my reciepts but i didn't.Any advise please.?(helpful answers only please)

Claim retro. Pop down to your local Turkish barber and get him to write a few dodgy receipts in his native language. Hey presto!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Claim for a smaller amount, say £100.00, they will probably offer around £50.00 - £70.00 for the incovenience caused.

Better than nowt. ;)
