Since I was little I have enjoyed cucumber (skin off) and Marmite sandwiches. I love the mix of heavy savoury with cool refereshment.
I also enjoy the explosion that happens when I have a glass of ice cold milk after eating a menthol sweet (cherry Tunes are best for this experience).
My friends and family think it's most odd.
Are there "weird" food combinations you like that others don't share?
P.S. my father liked black pepper on strawberries.

Peanut butter and celery sandwiches -
My OH puts milk in a cup of hot oxo....bluuurgghh!
-
I like sugar on tomatoes, salt on melon and balsamic vinigar on strawberries.
-
Your all weird. I enjoy normal stuff like toast soldiers coated in butter and jam dipped into a soft boiled egg
-
This is funny - so far, nothing appeals!
-
Cold curry and mushy pea sandwiches
-
Chips, rice and salad all on the same plate. ;)
-
My OH used to eat bacon, sausage and eggs with pancakes and maple syrup. YUK
-
The pancakes an syrup with fried food is very American. Not my cup of tea though.
Steve A - you need a straw with that, surely.
-
Some of these give me the boak

I like crunchy peanut butter and strong cheddar cheese on a sandwich.
-
Pan cooked tomato's with cold tea, worcester sauce and lots of black pepper added, served on thick wholemeal toast
with lashings of butter, and crispy smoked bacon with jam or maple syrup.
-
Have you considered Masterchef kevin3 ;) ;) ;)
-
I appear to be particularly unweird when it comes to food combinations :)
Top of the gross league for me on here has to be oxo with milk Sue :o
My strangest (and it isn't that strange) is toast with butter and marmalade as a component part of a full English breakfast - lovely...
-
For me it's Extra Strong mints with a glass of ice cold milk or Pontefract Cakes (or other liquorice) with cold fresh orange juice.
-
Kenkay
I think the extra strong mints with cold milk trumps my cherry Tunes.
Definitely worth a bash - I look forward to the sensation!
Not struck on liquorice though.
-
My dear old mum used to think that having Yorkshire puddings with a roast chicken dinner was weird. In her opinion they should only be eaten with roast beef.
She'd have freaked if she knew about my passion for Kokorec and pickled chillies.
-
I like mozzarella cheese with basil in a salad and drizzled with honey.
-

You are surely havin' a larf!"!!
-
Give it a try Toky, you'll be surprised, and if you use honey on the bacon it is all healthy. ;)
-
Kevin3, I could do maple syrup on the bacon but I couldn't put honey in my mouth. It gives me the boak. :o :o :o
Hubby has it every day but it's a no no for me.
-
Just had to google "boak".
Never heard the word before.
