Advice please, I booked a package with jet2 for a couple weeks in september.I have only paid the deposit, and need to pay the balance by June. I understand that no one has a crystal ball but I wondered what the procedure is. Didn't take out insurance yet as I was considering staying longer.

My advice would be to pay the balance. That way you will either get your holiday or get your money back if they cancel it.

Nothing in place to ensure that the elderly or vulnerable in Cambuslang need food or help.  You would have thought GP’s or the Housing Associations in conjunction with MP’s could have liaised to do something.  Mind you, our MP only turns up for photo opportunities which put her in good light. She’d turn up to the opening of an envelope but ask for help and she’s not around.

there are provisions made for every one, if they phone 115,some one  will do
their shopping take them to the bank or fetch their shopping for them,

They've tried that. That's being handled by the Zabita Polis and they're overwhelmed.
