Tailor or shop jacket
« on: April 13, 2017, 11:29:48 AM »
Folks, I have given up trying to buy some lightwieght blazer type jackets here in UK for my upcoming trip to Calis. Cool
in the evening this time of year so looking for lightweight....dont want to spend £130 on a Brook Taverner jacket! I have bought clothes and boots in Calis but never really looked for Jackets. (blazer type cotton or thin material). Is there a store that might
have a good collection of these to fit FoB (Fat old b*****d) or.....anyone had one made and can recommend a good Terzi for this??

John

Why don't you try Debenhams,M&S,Mossbros etc they have nice linen for £50-£80.Also a couple of years ago I bought a couple of nice lightweight linen and cotton blazer/jackets from Primark £30 a pop and still going strong

We have used a clothes shop in Fethiye, called Ramadan.  My husband had picked up trousers from there and am sure they would have jackets.  Also I think there is a shop, if you are at the big mosque head up the slope towards the dolmus stop, turn right just befoe and it is p on the hand side.

Hope this helps but you may find one before you go out to Calis.

Either of the two tailors shops in Calis would make you a jacket, but take out our own material.
Also, have a look in H.&.M.  I took Phil in there and all he did was moan as he said he would see nothing he liked. He saw a very lightweight pale blue jacket, he tried it on and loved it.  It was also not expensive.
One shop a lot of middle aged or older men never think to look in.
