Holidays 2019
« on: March 05, 2019, 20:20:34 PM »
I have managed to get an apartment for my holidays in may and september this year after my previous apartment of 10 years that i rented was sold.
It wasnt easy to find one plus the rent per week has gone up a lot.
As anybody else encountered this for 2019?

Probably because

a) The changes in rules regarding the management of rental properties and the subsequent costs involved.

b) Rampant inflation.

Yes and the fact that the new regulations have resulted in a great drop in supply.

Things are generally up this year - Jiva Beach about 30% up this year for similar dates in October.

I count myself lucky that after 35 years of going to fethiye/calis i have had the good deals over the years.
We will always go back so long as it doesnt get too pricey but in reality its a nice quiet place where we love to be.
