Yes - it's a two page spread on page 8 & 9. Not the best way to apologise but they have apologised. Too little too late for many I guess.

Now - who thinks prosecutions should follow - or should things now move on and hopefully allow those affected to have some closure?

Almost 30 years have passed.

If the CPS can chase down celebrities on weak and often spurious claims of inappropriate behaviour (Bill Roache et al) from thirty years ago, then there is no logical reason why they can't proceed on the basis of a coroner's ruling.

The families should push, and push hard for criminal prosecutions.
Someone/people need to be accountable for the abominable circumstances that began that fateful day.

I've been watching the vigil in Liverpool City Centre tonight, and what a moving and powerful occasion. Many thousands

attended, a well organised evening and some brilliant speeches, and when they all sang "You'll never walk alone " it made

the hairs stand up on your neck. The good news is Sheffield's Chief Constable has been suspended. The bad news was

that part of the speeches were drowned out by the noise from Murdoch's Sky News helicopter.  How ironic.

The Hillsborough families and the people of Liverpool can be extremely proud of themselves tonight.

Bill Kenwright nailed it on the head when he said of the authorities......

"They took on the wrong city - and they took on the wrong Mums."

According to the BBC web site, David Duckenfield faces a manslaughter charge and five others will be prosecuted for a variety of offences as a result of the fresh inquests.
