Title: Money No Object
Post by: Scunner on August 27, 2016, 00:30:25 AM
So - If you had one night and cost was not an issue - so not about value, about quality - where is the BEST place in Calis/Fethiye for a meal/night/ambience?  :)

I know its not calis/fethiye but I would recommend lamb night at the Istanbul kaykoy, they will do you a free transfer though.

Ada restaurant, on Solvaye Island. Celebrated my 60th birthday there last year and they were very helpful when booking it from England. If you ring and book table they will arrange ferry from Calis.

I would previously have said Sundial - but I had a meal at the Yacht Classic when I out in June, sat outside by the water and it was absolutely delightful in all respects so on balance I'd go back there as my number one preference...

I agree, Yacht Classic just has it nailed.
Style, service, setting and ambience, the food is ALWAYS beautiful
and you will go back, time and again.

Love it there!

If money was actually no object and I had one night, I can't imagine choosing Obens to be honest :o

Sorry was not thinking about the money just the ambience. Always think there is a good feeling about the place.

Read about this place the other day Anne.  It does look fantastic.
Was it easy enough to get to?

So if you had all the money in the world you would still go where you go now. I really like that.

Palazzo Refugio hotel is lovely, very elegant and tastefully furnished. We rented their apartment for a year. It's run by 3 guys. Frank, Philip and Eric. They are Belgian and the delicious food mostly reflects this. It's high up above Hisaronu and the road is partly unmade, so a bit bumpy towards the end! I believe Philip will collect and return dinner guests to somewhere local which makes it easier. If iyou want a special occasion I'm sure you will have an elegant and friendly evening here.  8)
