Come on folks, some-one out in Calis should be able to tell us show they're shaping up! We're due out in less than two weeks and we need to know how they are doing. Last year, again around this time, we were a bit disappointed. The break dancers weren't hitting the same heights that they had in earlier years, and the African dancers seemed a bit puzzled( perhaps a bit early in the season). Despite that, Scarlett has been the place to be as the nights grow longer. We're hoping that Mustapha( he used to work at the Golden Moon don't you know!) and the boys are ready for the season.

How they are shaping up

From what I hear, as with past years, they have been sitting on their collective backsides over the winter and have let the bar run down totally.

Oh dear, maybe we'll just sit in Joseph's and watch the world go by again then. From what we saw last year Scarlett's were struggling to pull them in even in early June: and we thought it was us mis-reading things..................

Murat, Mustafa and the rest of the boys have been working hard over the winter (again) refurbishing Scarlett.

I've been searching for pictures that Number 2 posted of the works in progress. I'll keep looking.

In five years of visiting Calis (two visits per year) never been to Scarlets.. We must be the only ones who don't feel we are missing anything.

What doesn't appeal Jacqui? I know very little about it but have seen it mentioned so many times.

Last time we were eating at Sardunya over the road and we sat until about 10.30pm all we saw going into Scarlets were a group of teenagers the place looked really empty, we always got the impression it's a place that maybe is for really late night drinking. We are not big drinkers.
