New mangal
« on: April 10, 2016, 17:17:16 PM »
Went to 'new' Mangal last night, same site & name different people & lay out, balloon bread complimentary as per the norm, wife had calamari for starter & I had stuffed mushrooms,  wife side her calamari was lovely as were my mushrooms, wife had spicy kebab for her main & myself a mixed grill, no fried egg with the mixed grill which I didn't mind as plenty of meat, salad & breads, was also offered another puffed bread foc but had plenty to eat,  wife made a special mention that the toilets were the best in a restaurant she has had ever experienced in calis.
Will be sure to go here again this year.

Always liked the old Mangal but will give this one a try too in June - any idea where the staff went?  The guy on the door was always really pleasant.

Took thse pictures last night, place looks stunning and I think will probably trip a few people in from the new look rather than carrying on up to the beach.  can't say anything about the food, becasue as you may notice from the second shot, it was taken from Frank Canons.  ;)

Sorry about the picture quality, it does not do the new place any real justice, but I have yet to get the hang of night pictures on the new phone.

Photo is of Rasim, ex husband of Evelyn. They ran Evelyns bar in Fethiye together a few years ago. Rasim has worked in a number of places and I am sure he will appear somewhere!
