Intasure property Insurance
« on: January 30, 2017, 20:13:43 PM »
I have received an email out of the blue from Intasure with whom we had our villa insured until 2013
It seems legit and is indicating that there may have been an error with the annual premiums relating to Turkish tax. They are saying there may be a refund due. Has anybody else received such an email and know anything about it?

Nope.  But sounds a bit suss as no Turkish tax was applicable to premiums paid to Intasure, they are a UK based insurer and as such your premiums were not subject to any local based taxes.  If they were, it was never mentioned in their T&C's from that time.

If you are due any money back from Intasure, grab it with both hands...

Post it to your bank with your account details on the back and ask them to credit your account. I've done it several times.  :)
