Title: Hello and introductions
Post by: carolfred on December 15, 2015, 21:35:44 PM: Hello, my name is Carol and I live in Colchester, Essex. I have joined the Calis Beach forum because my husband and I are planning a holiday in this part of beautiful Turkey early in October 2016. This will be our 4th visit to Turkey in 5 years, so I think we have been well and truly bitten by the Turkey 'bug'!

I love doing lots and lots of research before a holiday, as this is part of the excitement and anticipation for me, so I am sure I will be dipping into this forum frequently. We have not visited Calis Beach before, but have stayed in Ovacik (on our first visit). We love the beautiful countryside, the friendly people, the wonderful food, the amazing history and so much more, all of which we have encountered in Turkey, and look forward to another memorable visit.

We've been back so many times now and never tire of it. Hope you enjoy your visit next year and ...... ask away. ;)

There is no better place to be if you want to know anything about Calis/Fethiye and surrounds.

A broad mixture of facts and opinions - a wholly worthwhile (and amazingly, free of charge) forum.

After 15 years of visiting Fethiye I thought I had a reasonable awareness of the region.

After joining the forum, I soon realized I hadn't even scratched the surface.
