Sad news for many ...
« on: October 23, 2016, 13:21:16 PM »
The Buzz Bar closed it's doors the other day for the very last time it seems.

Sorry don't know any other details other than the owner of the land wants it back now.

No Buzz Bar webcam fix to check every day. Sorry, Lotty :(

This is the only Olu based webcam I can get to work now http://www.tonozbeach.com/EN/static_pages/51/webcam  as The Harry's webcam also hasn't worked for a while.

Buzz bar owners will, as far as I know, build a hotel on the land and will make a new Buzz bar.

Yes, the owner was on F.B. He says he will build an Hotel on the site and there will be a Buzz Beach Bar in it, but, it may be on the ground floor.
We were there the day before it closed and speaking to the waiters, none of them have firm offers of jobs yet.

Yes, I watched them slowly (despondently) dismantling the upstairs bar on the last webcam  :(.  End of many happy days watching the world pass or glide/float by. At least  I still have Tonoz Beach webcam now which is fine, better than nothing at all!  8)

My eldest son was devastated at the news today.

It'll cheer him up to know that there will be a Buzz Bar mark II.  ;D
