Luis Suarez has signed a new 4 1/2 year contract with Liverpool... I am very pleased to relate this great news. ;D 8)
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25463249
-
Brilliant and well done Brendan Rogers for the way he handled the difficulties earlier this year
-
Not that I like the man - in the same way I didn't like Ronaldo - he is THE difference between champions league and also rans - have to admit Rodgers did handle it well.
I wonder what the odds would be for both Everton & Liverpool qualifying?
Not as daft as it sounds ............
-
Shorter than Arsenal and Spurs :D
-
4 1/2 years? Something to get his teeth into :)
-
I'm waiting for someone to bite. !! ;)
-
If Saurez is still at Liverpool next season I'll eat my hat. It's all about putting up the transfer and compensation prices. If Liverpool supporters believe this is Suarez signing on for the long term, then they are bigger fools than even I thought they were.
The list of players signing new contracts before moving out shortly after includes such Luminaries as , Bale, Carol (b4 Liverpool move!!), Cashley Cole, Nasri, Fabregas ... that's enough Arsenal for now >:( >:(
-
Carol, bought quickly with the Chelsea money (what happened to that player) did not fit into Rodger's plan, so he was sold, there were no tears there. He seems to be crocked now, so a good decision.
Suarez (correct spelling) is a win win situation for us Liverpool fans, if he stays it's great, if he goes we have now put up his selling price... Not so foolish.
However, I realise it makes other supporters jealous and they will say hurtful things about us Scousers, but we understand and totally sympathise. Happy Christmas.. eat your heart out. :) :P
-
Ah, don't get me started on spelling correctly !

It's a great day for l.f.c
-
Jacky if your so sure of the attraction of Liverpool football club and it's supporters to hold onto Squarez next season, then how about a ten pound bet, payable to CCC, that he will not be gone before the close of next season's transfer window in September?
Blimey I am taking an additional risk here betting against those classy Liverpool supporters who hounded Gerrard and his family when he was considering leaving.
-
At no time did I intimate that Suarez would stay. I did say his signing is a win win situation for Liverpool if he stays we have a great player, if he goes we will get a huge amount for him.
However, as a classy Liverpool supporter. I need no incentive to give to one of my favourite charities the 3 C's. I will give them £20.00 at the end of the season whether we still have Suarez or not and I am sure as a classy supporter of (?...let us know) you will match my donation at the end of the season too?
Jacqui YWNWA. ;D :-* ;)
-
Wow! Liverpool fans coming out to play as soon as they get a bit of a run together!
:)
-
:D ;DYes and top of the league at the moment
Lol

Sorry, Tiggsy, are we missing something here??

I'm pretty sure I am :D

usedbusticket i will take the bet

Apologies for tardiness in not getting back on this thread earlier, been out enjoying the theatre whilst back in the UK lovies. Anyway on to no less important things.
stoop you naughty man, Liverpool supporters coming out to play ... You are so right. Will not last though.
Scott and Lisa, Gawd bless yer, I was not looking to become the CBF bookmaker on this issue, but what the heck, you are on!! I will diary this for next September, if as, as I expect, the transfer hasn't happened by then.
Jacqui I was not seeking to set up a situation in which you and I could act The Lord and Lady bountiful of charity giving, but simply to make a football point, and more particularly a point on greedy players in the modern game, of which Suarez is a classic example. I offered a reasonable bet to reinforce this point, in particular that Suarez would be on his way as Liverpool are not big enough and/or do not offer enough in football or cash terms for him to stay. It would seem you do not have the confidence in the man (not the player) to stay either, or you would have taken my fair terms if a wager.
-
Sorry "This" is meant to state that I agree with UsedBuckets post.
-
I wonder how many Liverpool fans would turn out to watch them if they ever found themselves in the old third division with a fifteen point penalty? It's great to crow when you are top but my guess is not many would turn up to watch them play the likes of Carlisle and Southend.
31,000 at Elland Road yesterday! Not bad for a team that was almost put out if business by Kenneth Bates.
-
Stoop Liverpool have always been sell out since I have supported them and they have not done that well in the last 20 odd years, but the Scousers will always support their teams Everton and Liverpool have great support. I have had the pleasure of visiting both grounds and it has always been a great experience. I have also been to Leeds ground.
However, you could say the same about lots of the teams in the premiership, so I really don't see the point in this posting??
Mr Tickets I will as I said before donate the money so I have taken your bet, but as a Classy Liverpool Supporter I do not want to bet just a tenner, so you can bet your tenner and I will put the £20.00 down and donate it whatever happens.
Now, please let us know which of the wonderful teams you support and how many European Cups they have won? I suspect it may be Arsenal
-
Oh Jacqui you are still dodging the point that I make about Suarez et al, but feel free to make the donation, won'/t make any difference he'll be gone.
Yes my team is the Arsenal, never sought to hide or disguise the fact on the forum or anywhere else.. In fact I've probably driven some people to despair with my comments on their performance, good and bad. Your right they've never won the European Cup, but at least they've won the Premiership three times. Interestingly and enjoyably they won one at Old Trafford and another at ****e Hart Lane, and who can forget the time we won the old Div One Title at some small ground in a back water in north west, taking the title right from under the noses of the home team .... oh yes it was Anfield. ;)
BTW is it true that after finishing his football playing days Suarez intends to return to Liverpool to open a pub called The Biter and Diver? ;D ;D
-
Mr UBT - would you be unhappy if Suarez joined Arsenal? I can't stand the man but jeez I'd rather have him than face him!
-
Yes this is where, if at all possible, I separate the man from the player. What club wouldn't want him as a player, particularly at the moment when he looks like he is on fire. Then we get onto would I want him as a man, and I'd say no he is just a nasty individual.
So on balance if he was on offer - very unlikely to be to the Arsenal as we saw in the Summer even if we have the cash - I would not have him. I have a deep distrust of want-away players over the years, including inbound want-aways like Sol Campbell. Doubting firstly their commitment, and secondly the high risk of disruption at club and/or team level at some time after their arrival. Suarez also has the additional historical problems of biting etc. that he brings with his game. :(
-
Want aways like Sol Campbell? What about Cesc Fabregas who spent his entire Arsenal career want awaying ;)
-
Want aways like Sol Campbell? What about Cesc Fabregas who spent his entire Arsenal career want awaying ;)
You are not far wrong, cos it felt like that from a supporters point of view.
-
O.K. So you are an Arsenal supporter. It's clear to me and other members now about the Suarez affair...very sour grapes, It's understandable, but don't worry...I and us other L.F.C. Supporters understand. No hard feelings.
Happy Christmas to you and Mrs Tickets
-
Game on them...... how about another tenner on who finishes higher in the leaque? loser pays £10 to the CCC's?
-
Suarez is a cheating, low-life slimeball.
That is all.
-
So, if he was offered to the team you support, (which is it incidentally?) I suppose you would say no?
I have seen many nasty comments over the years about wonderful players (He was player of the month in December). These comments are always from jealous supporters of other teams, who would give their eye teeth to have that player in their squad.
-
You walked right in Jacqui !
-
Well, sitting waiting for a delivery, and need something to do...Don't worry about me I have been on this Forum for a very long time, I can handle it.
-
i think hes handled himself fantastically lately, i can only think Rogers must have had an influence
-
£200,000 a week. What a bargain when you see what Bale,Ronaldo and Messi get.If Liverpool get into Europe Luis will stay for sure.If not it depends what is written into his new contract.I heard there is a clause in it allowing him to talk to Barca and Milan if they dont qualify for Europe but that the asking price is in the region of £150.000 000 for them to sign him. Well done Brendon Rodgers and Liverpool. The only way is up.
-
No, I would not want him at my club (the clue is in my username). I'd rather keep Benteke (but I expect he'll be gone in the summer, too)
Suarez is a great goalscorer, given, but a thoroughly loathsome individual. It's not about winning at all costs and diving, racism and biting have no place in the game.
I found the way Liverpool FC backed up his vile behaviour rather shocking too.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/16406960
"An independent Football Association commission ruled that Suarez, 24, had racially abused Evra during a 1-1 draw between Liverpool and Manchester United in October 2011."
The commission's report stated that the Uruguayan striker had used the term "negro" seven times in around two minutes and criticised him for providing "unreliable" and "inconsistent" evidence at the hearing.
Liverpool decided not to appeal against Suarez's ban, but issued a statement saying it was their "strongly held conviction... that the Football Association and the panel it selected constructed a highly subjective case... based on an accusation that was ultimately unsubstantiated".
Roberts, who has campaigned for Kick It Out , told BBC Sport: "Liverpool must think long and hard about how they are perceiving this.
"They are a proud club with lots of fans of different cultures and nationalities and it's important to think about how they would feel about being treated in the same way.
"Knowing people are from different nationalities and have different cultures is an important part of building your brand. You also have to know that players certainly don't accept being spoken to in that way."

-
Villain...That's old news. He commited the crime and served the time.Live with it.He has come back and even after serving his ban is the top scorer in the prem.
Stoop you do make me laugh with what you come out with. You should be on tv :)
-
As mentioned before, Suarez is a goal machine. As for the Diving, how many other players get the same aggro and attention as Suarez? Nil!!. All those of you who give him stick when other players do the same thing and are excused f a verbal lashing indicates complete jealousy as to the mans ability as a world class player.
What about Rafael in the last Man U game? is he getting the same flak? No!!
Did Suarez dive against Villa?
Martin Samuel
I made it a penalty at first glance, and replays haven’t altered that opinion. The problem these days is that unless a player gets knocked five feet in the air, it is claimed he has fallen too easily. Suarez was clipped because Guzan came out in a rash manner.
Graham Poll
It is as clear a penalty as you want to see. Suarez did not dive, he played as the professional footballer that he is. He knew the contact would come from Brad Guzan. The speed at which the keeper came out meant a collision was inevitable.
Jamie Redknapp
I don't accept it was a dive. There was contact and there’s nothing in the rule book that says how much contact there has to be. Suarez might be a master at winning penalties, but you have to go back to the source — what was the Villa keeper doing?
Martin Keown
When a keeper comes rushing out like that, he makes up the striker’s mind for him.
Suarez would have known it was a tight angle to get a shot off, so as soon as Guzan over-commits and there is contact, that’s enough to knock him off his stride

Anybody else accused of Diving last weekend?
-
No doubt it was a penalty and not just said by me. I think the general opinion of all the football journalists was the same.
As said, old news about Suarez, but I understand as a Villa fan you need to vent your frustrations on someone.
I think Rogers has done a great job with him and of course, every time there is an incident other fans start digging up the past. He is a wonderful player and as for racism, just watch him hug his black teammates.
I remember everyone hating Eric Cantona at one time for his bad behaviour, but he is now renown as a world class player and even does some beer ads on T.V.
Obviously, if Suarez did go to Villa you would have to stop supporting them and try West Brom.. ;D
-
I used to defend Ronaldo and Bale (I am not a Man Utd or Spurs fan) by saying "at that speed you have to realise that the slightest touch will bring you down as you go off balance" and this season I think Suarez is in the same category!
I read recently his wife actually said to him "why are you so angry when you play football? - we love living here - we have a wonderful life...."
Apparently he reflected on that and with some very good man management by Rodgers as well - you cannot argue with the result!
Ps I am not a Liverpool fan either but did support / have a season ticket at Everton for 18 months when my friend Willie Donachie was assistant to Joe Royle - and they will finish 4th this time with s little bit of luck and if they do - Martinez should be named "manager of the season" !!!
-
i agree Ian , if Everton finish 4th they he should get manager of the season (unless City do a treble) but i cant see Arsenal slipping to 5th so i dont think it will happen!
-
I have been to Everton matches many times and love the way, like at Liverpool the fans of both teams (i.e. Everton and Liverpool)sit together, mainly because they are family. My Dad was an Everton fan and him and my Mum had season tickets. This is why I went to the Everton matches with them.
I think the new Manager is very good, but I think the problem is the size of their squad, they only need a few injuries and they are screwed.
However, I really want Liverpool to finish in the top four as I am a Liverpool supporter.
-
Yes big game this weekend Liverpool and Everton, come on the Reds,we can beat these Toffees.
-
Its being played on Tues next week kick off 8 pm. 6 premier games in all that night. Should be a good game as both are attacking teams. Liverpool to edge it 2-1 for me. But then I have often been wrong :)
-
i agree Ian , if Everton finish 4th they he should get manager of the season (unless City do a treble) but i cant see Arsenal slipping to 5th so i dont think it will happen!
Its going to be Liverpool / Everton & Spurs battling for places 4 / 5 & 6 - no doubt about it ;)
-
The only Liverpool matches I have not watched in the last 10years have been the matches where they were not video'd or broadcasted.
A couple of links for PL footie.
-
Sorry Snowtop but there are serious issues for forums/websites who allow links to these types of streams.
If anyone is interested, please feel more than free to contact Snowtop direct for the details.
-
Okay mate, no probs. As Scunner says, just contact me and I will forward them on to you
-
Sorry Snowtop but there are serious issues for forums/websites who allow links to these types of streams.
If anyone is interested, please feel more than free to contact Snowtop direct for the details.
I would like to add there would also be some very serious issues for anyone who was to download anything i.e. media player from these sites. Most if not all are bundled with very nasty programs and even viruses you don't want in your pc because you just cannot get rid of them. Be warned and keep away from them.
-
I have used these links as I have said for a few years now and not had a problem. I use window essentials and if there has been a problem, I have not been aware about it.
-
Im sure you have snowtop as you probably have already got the media players installed so you can watch the games. But if you have not, you are asked to download and install the media player you need to watch the game. It is when you download this material that you also unwittingly download other things you don't want and once installed you have a hell of a job to get rid of them. One program that installs itself is called Bubble Dock which is a nasty type of spyware virus. It can corrupt the whole of your computer. Maybe some of the other forum members may have heard of it. I am lucky as I have very good anti-virus protection which alerts me of any virus threats but not everyone has that protection. I think most forum websites as Scunner says do not allow links because of issues such as I have stated and other issues as well.
-
I see where you are coming from Dave, I have vlc player which does the job. anyway we are steering away from the original post which is about Suarez.
-

Who?

Game on them...... how about another tenner on who finishes higher in the leaque? loser pays £10 to the CCC's?
shame no one took this up
-
I don't agree its a shame Scott and lisa, the 3 c,s do an excellent job raising money, as do Animal aid, but ive noticed lately on CBF a lot of posts seem to think it is a must to give something to these charities at every opportunity . Vojo,s world cup idea a good example, where all money raised was given back with no profit to them.
-
it was a sly dig at "usedbustickets" merely some football banter, he quietened down after i suggested this!
im sure he will perk up now though!
-
That is disappointing to read Des. All those involved in the charities are well aware of the support they receive from CBF and it's members and I can assure you they are also in no doubt that we are keen not to see charity fundraising being overdone here.
In the case you are referring to, Scott and Lisa offered a bet which they could have won for themselves, but chose to be sporting and kill two birds with one stone - a bit of fun and a good cause at the end of it. This is most certainly not evidence of "a lot of posts seem to think it is a must to give something to these charities at every opportunity".
-
Oh I am watching with interest, but I do not recall me quietening down after this comment. How wrong was I that Liverpool would not win the title, particularly with the diving, biting, cheating, racist 'player of the year' who is on his way out of Liverpool to probably Real Madrid - and I do believe that there is is an outstanding bet on that outcome - benificary CCC - sorry Des.
-
Arsenal were well infront of Liverpool at the time :)
-
Oh Dear that chip on a certain shoulder is a great weight and seems to be pressing on the head now....
Luis did not sign for another team at the start of the season and this seems to be so hard to get over..
Well done to him for winning three awards this year. I am sure you will all agree his wife is lovely and his kids are so sweet.
(http://s15.postimg.org/w0v8teld3/image.jpg) (http://postimg.org/image/w0v8teld3/)
-
Yes well done,Luis, he earned those awards,he took a lot of stick, from defenders,
-
Suarez is THE player everyone wants. Top class world class striker.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=olImauCGa-0
Sorry Jacqui couldn't resist it.
-
So glad poor misunderstood Luis has been fully rehabilitated....whoops!
Spoke too soon.
Can I say "arsehole" on here?
-
Cue the Liverpool apologists ;-)
Time to ban him for a very long time but FIFA will bottle it. They have no bite!
-
Maybe Cagatay could help?
-
(http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/06/25/5avatyma.jpg)
-
I will not defend him, he has a problem and a temper, but I know any one of the supporters who want him banned would give there eye teeth (no pun intended) to have him in their team.
No matter how many bites he gives, he would still be snapped up (again no pun) for millions from any club in the world.
He is one of the best strikers maybe the best in the world. He will be given more treatment and his wife will tell him off and nothing will change, he will still be the most wanted player in the world.
I am sure Brendan Rogers will be having nightmares about Suarez.
-
Well I would be ashamed to have him at Leeds good striker or not. He's a coward and a cheat and needs teaching a lesson.
If he'd done that in the 70's he'd wouldn't have got up off the floor trust me.
-
Yes, Stoop we all know what a team of Angels, Leeds has always been... totally without blame.. Pot, Kettle, I think. Incidentally, I watched Leeds playing Liverpool and even took my life in my hands and went to Leeds to watch then play Liverpool...That was a real eye opener.
-
Jacqui - I detest the man BUT you gave a very good response and I would quit while you are ahead :-)
-
No ifs, no buts Jacqui get him out of football for good . He is a disgrace
-
Fifth Amendment Jacqui
-
Life ban from international football- no question. I feel for Brendan Rodgers, he must feel terribly let down. I feel sorry for everyone who supported him the last time he did this and I would feel embarrassed, certainly not proud to have him in ANY team I followed. Let's not forget, this is now the THIRD time he's done this. Ajax, Liverpool & now his country. As Glenn Hoddle pointed out- if if had done that in public, he'd be in prison. He needs a muzzle.
Commercial sponsors should run a bloody mile if they've got any sense. Then perhaps Liverpool might not be so protective of him.
-
The owners are in talks with the club as to what to do, I never expected him to stay long term, maybe one more season then move on, but I think this incident has changed things dramatically, I can't see how we can defend him yet again, even though it was not at club level, but can see us getting the backlash, I honestly think he has issues, what makes him do it.?
-
Jacqui - the difference in those days was that footballers were men who would stand up to each other man to man. This little **** is a total coward who cannot do that. He just bites people for no reason other than he's probably a little mad.
If you followed football back then you would know that Leeds were no dirtier than Liverpool, Chelsea or any other team. They all had hatchet men who took players out of games with over the top tackles. It was the norm and they accepted it back ad much as they gave it.
-
Robbie Savage hit the mark - ban him for life - third time he has done this so no excuses
-
Robbie Savage hit the mark - ban him for life - third time he has done this so no excuses
ru really serious? Following the lead of Robbie Savage on anything. Second rate no mark in football terms with a discipline record as long as your arm on the pitch, and off the pitch a huge disruption in any club. Beside which can you really take anyone that seriously with his fashion sense...LMAO
-
FIFA's disciplinary code sets a maximum ban of 24 matches or two years, but the longest ban in World Cup history was eight games for Italy's Mauro Tassotti for breaking Spain's Luis Enrique's nose in 1994 with an elbow.
He has already done a seven and ten match ban for the same incident, it's got to be two year ban this time which will make him very difficult to sell on now.
Personally I would ban him for life.
-
Here Here Jacqui! ;D
-
Brilliant player, shame about his temper, but three bites and he's out,I'm afraid.
-
Diouf never got banned for life for his spitting habit, personally I think thats worse than a bite, there have been many other brilliant footballers with a self destruct button, I think to help his issues would be more constructive, we all wish that bite would never have happened, but being the third one proves there is a problem, and in each incident there has never been any provocation,
The supporters all have mixed feelings on the subject, but I would like him to be understood, before he is hung and quartered, and as for Robbie Savage making comment, he needs to give his a head a good wobble,
-
Suarez is an animal >:(. Anger management specialists wouldn't cure this spoilt brat.
-
Savage? Well, would you ever trust a man that says his father is seriously ill, when there's nothing wrong with him, to get a transfer.People in glass houses. Dispicable little git. Not in a position to pass judgement on anyone I'm afraid.
-
Suarez lawyer claims it was an accident. Apparently FIFA cant agree unanimously so he could go unpunished for the incident. There you have folks it didnt really happen. And footballs integrity in tact. Good result for all, except Italy of course.
-
I think he should be made to play with gum shields from now on,
Or get some advice from Mike Tyson ,lol.
-
FIFA announces 9-game ban for Uruguay player Luis Suarez after biting incident in World Cup match
FIFA also bans Uruguay's Luis Suarez for 4 months from all soccer-related activity; also fined 100,000 Swiss Francs
-
An absolute joke!!!!
-
So this is why he does it? If so, say goodbye, Liverpool fans:
Luis Suárez’s Giorgio Chiellini clash adds to story of violence and deceit
Uruguayan hero has been so indulged by his apologists that he is starting to believe that there is a conspiracy against him

Just a slap on the wrist >:(
FIFA=Spineless tw-ts :(
-
We're gonna need a bigger ban:
-
An absolute joke!!!!
Would you agree Mark it was also an absolute joke when a certain Mr Cantona jumped into the crowd and physically assaulted a fan, he got a nine month ban if my memory serves me right. ;) ;) :)
-
pathetic >:(
-
For who Patrice? ;)
-
The outcome- Suarez he should have be given a far greater punishment >:(
-
An absolute joke!!!!

A sizeable ban for a one off offence Des. this is the 3rd time a joke
-
Have to disagree Laffa! Whilst spitting is disgusting I think biting an opponent is much worse. It's physical assault and should be punished severely. He's a lucky lad he didn't get the whole two years IMO.
-
Suarez is an animal >:(. Anger management specialists wouldn't cure this spoilt brat.
Suarez is everything but a spoilt brat. It really is a true familyman with a big hart. His other side is that of a true streetfighter who had a hard time growing up in the slums and has an abolute will to win. Fair or unfair, that doesn't matter. That's what made him one of the worlds best. With a very nasty spot though.

Interesting view of the situation, I'm tempted to quote bits of it but the whole article is worth a read.
-
Looks like Louis Saurez, in talks with Liverpool and Barcelona,
-
This was always going to happen to a player of his standard, If Barca calls you are not going to turn your nose up at it, Liverpool knew he had a bit of madness. spirit, hunger call it what you will, in him when we signed him, personally I think it might be the right thing for him and the club, and wish him all the best, he has helped us back on the CL ladder, its up to us now, good luck Luis, whatever happens.
-
I think you have hit the nail on the head Laffa.
-

Biting incident number three or no biting incident, he was always going to leave. Which I have always maintained since signing the 'new' contract last year. He's a despicable man, not just his biting, diving and racist incidents, but look how quickly he tried to clean up his act with the very belated apology over his latest biting incident once he knew Barca were knocking at the door. Did near enough the same last year - getting on the plane back to Scouseland - once he knew Arsenal were in for him. He might be able to play a bit of football, but that does not make the man. And the man always comes before the player in my book.
-
I think money Maketh the man, with all footballers and their agents, not just Luis Suarez,
The way footballs going at the moment,
-
Of course he was always going to leave, and who can blame him, I think this has been blown up out of all proportion. really has. I'm sure half the goalies in the prem will be wishing him well, not having to face him, he was not born here and never had a kick about in the shadow of the ground as a kid, so does not feel the passion the same as others, that has long gone in the game, it's all about the money now, not the working class mans affordable sport.
-
I really thought he would stay after the support he was given, he will be missed as a footballer, but at the end of the day enough has to be enough, 50 million profit and rid of a problem has to be taken.
although i would rather he stay and stops biting people
-
It disgusts me the things that managers, club owners and even supporters will tolerate in the name of success. :(
-
You mean like what Chelsea did in 2006, with Abromovich, Mourinho, and 300 million to buy the best players in the world and buy 2 premier league titles Kevin. ;) ;)
-

OUCH!!
-
Luis Suarez is about to sign new contract again...
...for a club who are banned from signing players (ban is suspended whilst Barca grease the wheels I mean appeal)
A match made in heaven and I'm sure they'll be very happy together.
-
Fangs for the update villain. ;)

I can only say I am stunned, lots of Liverpool fans insisted he was staying because his son had his name down for a school locally. This really has come out of the blue.
-
Apparently this move was initiated in November, but there will always be rumours bandied about, the bottom line is no one player is bigger than the club, the FA and FIFA are as bent as,,,,,,, I will certainly miss watching him and wish him well.

Well ho hum, and not meaning to gloat, but I told you so!! ;) ;) See page 1 of the thread.
Are the Scousers, ex-Scousers (woolly back variety), ex-Scousers (anywhere else variety) or the Scousers Plastic "coming out to play" again about the player they pulled into their hearts, and we're let down by the man?
still at least the charity will benefit (page 3)
Glad to see the back of him from the PL and hopefully from the back pages too.
Now that's enough gloating and reinforced opinion for one post. Have a nice day everyone. :D :D
Coming out to play was a Stoop and Revie Production from page 2 ;D ;D ;D

He was always going - as was McCormack at Leeds. Both clubs got record breaking fees and both players will be missed but soon forgotten.
Look out for the Italian explosion in Leeds next season. A cheeky tenner on promotion might be worth a punt.
Cellino tells the players they have to live in Leeds. The Italians have to speak English. He's buying back the ground. He's buying a new team bus :)
He's also just got about £30m from GFH by issuing more shares to dilute their 25% holding and offered them the opportunity to invest more into the club via those shares.
Pity he's a crook but hey - he's nowhere near as bent as Bates or GFH.
Forza Leeds United.

He's buying a new team bus :)
Stoop your point on the new team bus was not missed by me. Will it be a Daf or Leyland?
-
I don't feel let down at all by him, we move on. simple.
-
Actually he said "coach" ! Maybe Hockaday should be worried ;-)

Actually he said "coach" ! Maybe Hockaday should be worried ;-)
Hold on, hold on... Now I am confused does he mean
A - a bus public transport type
B - a coach. a posh bus
C - a coach, a person with team training responsibility
D - team bus as in parking in front of your goal.. The ultimate defensive strategy
I think we should be told, me in particular so I can remove the cold towels from my head cos this is starting to make the old noggin overheat.
-
Lol - a new coach to travel to away games.
-
Will be paying up tomorrow ;)
