Yes Jacqui, Mango is still trading with some nice things.  They are quite different to most shops in Fethiye and remind me of a European boutique.

Jacqui, oops just noticed you said the canal near the Sunday Market.  Don't know about that one but the one in Fethiye at the side of the river is still trading.

How come "Made in China" clothes in the UK are cheaper than "Made in China" clothes in Turkey?

We stopped going to the Tuesday market after 1 visit where everything we looked at was overpriced. We also stopped shopping in shops that did not display the prices for the goods offered, as again different prices for Brits.

Hi Marggie, Think it must be the same place, cross the road by the Market and turn left and walk along by the river (canal) not sure, but thanks for that.  Really looking forward to going there again.
Last time we were in we were short of time and they had some lovely maxi dresses.:D ;)

I have even gone buying the chicken half breads since our Turkish friend came with us and said that 2 chicken half breads and 2 ayran for 10TL was "very expensive" lol. We have since been to the vitamin bar in Gunlukbasi and lots of the cheapo places in Fethiye all do 2 chicken half breads and 2 ayran for 5 Tl and u still get the free cay and chillies. I personally love the "hub bub" of the Fethiye market but some of the remarks are down right offensive now and I am definitely not prudish and my mate says if they shout "hey baldy" once more he wont be held responsible for his actions LOL.
