Title: REIKI (NOT A DRINK)
Post by: amanda on August 23, 2005, 18:27:46 PM
Just thought i would ask the question if any one would be interested.
would it work there or are you all stress free. 8) and do the turkish people do this kind of treatment.

                    REIKI  (not a drink lol)

           HEALS MIND. BODY AND SPIRIT

           A TRUE RELAXING EXPERIENCE

A Reiki treatment is often described as a ‘laying on of hands'
Although it isn't necessary for the practitioner to actually touch.
this a non-intrusive therapy; you remain fully clothed throughout the whole treatment and only remove shoes and heavy jewellery
you can benefit from Reiki whether you just want to relax from every day stress and strains.
If you have aches and pains (back pain, minor illness) much more
Or just want some quality time for yourself.
The treatment will differ depending on the needs of the individual.
One thing is for sure you will leave feeling fully relaxed, physically invigorated,
And more focused.

I treat many people in the uk and just woundered if any one would be interested. This is a form of natural healing, and has been around for thousands of years, and works with the  Chakra's.

AMANDA :)

all feed back welcome. as moveing to turkey

Amanda
We are hoping to set up a healing centre when we finally get out there doing Reiki, Spiritual Healing, Hypnotherapy, EFT, Aura photos, colour therapy, crystal healing, mediumship, tarot etc. etc.

The only healing we've done so far in Turkey has been for free to people who needed it. Not sure that you can survive by just doing Reiki treatments, if you are thinking of charging. It's the same as here - The people that really need it tend not to be able to pay. There are a few Turkish people who do Reiki in the area but we know little of what they do.

Hi Amanda and Linda,

A Healing Centre in Turkey - Fantastic.  I'm a reflexologist and have been studying complementary therapies for 25 years.  Meeting and talking to other therapists is the main thing I've missed since moving to Turkey.  I look forward to speaking to both of you

I have never tried any of these but I have wanted to have a go so here is one potential customer - although I realise you will need a few more.

Maybe we can both go on the same day and finally meet up.  So that's 2 customers now.  Any more?

I'm a psychic too I can do automatic writing and draw psychic faces but I have never so far practiced on anyone, I use it for my own emotional support.  I have a lot of energy down one arm into one hand and have a photograph of me(taken with my friend's ordinary camera, er nothing wrong with the film either) with a huge aura in a large green ectoplasmic arch over one side of my body(seriously I'm not joking)where my energy is situated but at the moment I don't have the time to develop my skills.

I would like to open my own gymnasium and have a chain of gyms in each resort for the expats and anyone else who wishes to attend.  But one can dream sigh!

Kate

Pardon my ignorance but what exactly is a 'Hopi ear candle practitioner?'[?]

Sounds facsinating.

Hi Jukebox  :)

Its an amazing treatment which is the holistic way of removing wax from your ears, clearing your sinus's and relieving stress headaches - it also has the bonus of clensing your chakras aswell which is good news!. It sounds a bit mad but the candles are long and hollow with a special filter in,they work by causing a vacuum and pulling the wax out, unlike conventional syringing where they push it through so its gentle on the ear drums etc - I found out about it when I was told I had to have a hearing aid, had two treatments and then went to get it fitted and was told I didnt need one anymore :) :) :) I thought it was so amazing I trained how to do the treatment so I could help others...

Hope that answers your question :)

I don't know if he does Reiki, but there is a guy in Akyaka called Dogan Yilmaz who does various kinds of massage - Swedish, Ayurverdic, Chakra, Indian head massage, Relaxation, Lymphatic & Thai massage, aromatherapy and reflexology. Also yoga. He works in a lovely setting in the orchard of the Okaliptus apartments, by the river.  Hope it is ok to put a link here.

Our move out to Turkey seems to be taking forever due to circumstances beyond our control.
Making no predictions on when we'll finally get out there.

We have added another string to our bow by buying an SCIO - the upgraded system from the QXCI. For those who don't know this is an all singing, all dancing machine that does everything from allergy testing, face lifts etc. to lymphatic drainage, accupuncture, rife, spinal reallignment etc. etc. There are thousands of different conbinations of tests & remedies - even if we lived for another 100years there are parts of the machine we probably won't get round to using. Luckily it's computer controlled so it does most of the work. We've been amazed so far by the machine & the results we're getting & we've hardly touched the surface of what it is capable of.

It's been really frustrating as we had hoped to be living in Turkey by now. When the time is right it'll happen. You'll all know when we finally move out there.
