Hi folks
We are looking to buy a 2nd hand car privately from a Turkish owner and wonder if someone here could take us through the process should we decide to buy.
I think someone said a trip to the Maliye to check outstanding debts is necessary and also a trip to a Notary. We then need to arrange insurance and new number plates. I understand we can use an agent to do this Mugla trip but again I'm not too sure how to go about this and roughly how much it will cost.
Any advice as to how we go about this frankly terrifying process would be gratefully received!
Should have said, we have Residency and our Kimlik numbers!
