Went yesterday afternoon, The Desparado Ranch, now called Asam has opened a licensed restuarant which is a lovely place to chill out.  Grassy area with Turkish cushions (under cover) which is lovely to lounge around on.  They are open day and evenings, 12mths of the year.

We also found a place called Yonka Lodge next to the camping site, which goes right on to the beach.  They have a swimming pool, eating area, octaganal glass conservatory overlooking the sea if its windy or raining, gorgeous gardens and its lovely and quiet.  The lady there was making rose petal jam.  You can also stay there, have wooden houses in the grounds.

Their is a water sports place on the beach(which is very pebbly) they have jet ski's, sail boats, pedalos etc.

So I would say worth a day visit.

Not necessarily. Some only go as far as Katranci others only as far as Gunluklu. Most of the Gocek dolmuses stop at or near both.

Just spent a smashing day on Gunluklu Bay. What a lovely beAch, well worth a visit, but do take your drinks etc with you. We were charged 10 til for a can of coke & 20 try was the going rate for a bottle of Effes, which we declined. There is a small shop on the site but he cannot sell you drinks as you gave to buy them at the bar. We will be back but will b taking our own drinks with s.
