Had some good news from Aydem electricity company, we received an electric bill of 5800L in June this year which our bank in Fethiye paid, but after checking the meter it was found to be faulty and the money refunded yesterday

Probably took less time to sort than in the UK

I really didn't expect to see this refund but the main chap at Aydem speaks excellent English and we have now requested e-billing so we can check our bill every month

Lucky you had enough in the bank to cover it initially! It makes you wonder, does it not cross their mind that a bill like that may be caused by a faulty meter - it wouldn't take huge technology to flag up such things.

When the main man from Aydem came to look at the meter I made a Comment that we must be paying for all Calis electricity, he agreed but said he had to justify the situation
