Steph's blonder mate:
Steph & I met on holiday in Gran Canaria. My friend and I arranged to meet Steph and her friend again a couple of evenings later.
When we arrived, they were already there, and to my digust, sitting chatting with some German guys. Not to be outdone we got our drinks and joined the company.
After around half an hour of chatting about Bratwurst and Hitler, Steph's friend quietly asked if I thought they were from Germany, she wasn't sure. I said they sounded very much like it but I thought she would have already known for sure.
To confirm once and for all, she asked them. "Where are you all from?"
"Ve are Deutch!" came the unsurprising reply.
"Oh Steph, they are Dutch, we thought you were ****ing Germans"
