Although this posting has nothing to do with Turkey (the country), it is about birds with the same name.
In yesterday's local paper (The News) there is a short item about two Turkeys, Roger and Fred, who had been saved from the dinner table so that they could be used for breeding. Unfortunately during the recent strong winds that we have been experiencing their cage blew open and they both escaped only to both be killed and eaten by a fox!.
