My phone went off yesterday, again:(. In the past the problem has been too much rain in the duct a couple of hundred metres from our house. went through the usual rigmarole with the guy from Mumbai on a neighbours phone and after checking the point of entry of the line into our house which was dead, an engineer called today. Guess what? the point of entry is not. It comes in elsewhere and 4 different engineers have checked an extention socket for faults in the past, the same extention socket I checked yesterday, but now it will cost me a shed load of money for the visit because there was nothing wrong with the line, the fault was the socket.
