has anyone got a po box here in Hisaronu PTT.....if so can you tell me how to go about it, what documents, cost etc?

Go into the PTT and ask the lady that works in there about it. She's got a list of the requirements written in English. The main thing is you must have a valid Residence Permit though.

I have one in Fethiye. First payment was 10 lira (which covered the cost of the key), since then it has been an annual charge of 6 lira. Best bargain in Turkey

Went to the post office in Hisaronu and the boxes there are not numbered or locked, you can just open them and help yourself to anyones post. Is that the way they are meant to be used?

I thought they would have a number on them and lock which meant they were only for the keyholder.

I go in regularly now to pick up post now but have opted out of the box option.

Went in a couple of times and no postman it looks like all mail been cleared out can anyone verify what is going on.

For the last 2 weeks we,ve actually had mail delivered, looks like the new postman now knows his way around

Apart from hubby's bills, and some birthday cards which arrived in May (5 months late!!) I still have had no post. Still awaiting 1 very, very important letter, and getting more worried and frustrated by the day.

I have had no post since January.My telephone and adsl bill is getting very tattered around the edges now lol.
