Hi Bernie,  We flew with Monarch in May from Manchester. (Try saying that after a few too many Efes!)  They did have TV's but to be honest the picture on them wasn't that good so I didn't bother taking much notice what was on.  Your's could be much better though!  ;)

Definitely duty free on board, they'll try and get you to buy as much as they can on the way out because it might not be available on the way back!

9 days, lucky you!!  Have a great time.

Also should add, two good flights both on time.  Legroom not too bad, better than some.   :)

Echo that. Good flights there and back at Easter with no delays. TV was old sitcom reruns, but passed the time  :)

This is reassuring as we have booked Monarch for the first time due to a poor Thomson flight in May with dreadful legroom. We have used Thomson the last four or five time flying to Dalaman because generally the legroom was ample but the last flight we used it was awful.

Used them April this year, good for time but the leg room on par to or worse than Thomas Cook.

We used them at Easter (from Luton), excellent flight out and great crew.  But dreadful delay coming home.  HOwever they looked after us well and it wasn't there fault that the damn spanish were on strike again !!!  They got a plane to us as soon as they could and the rep couldn't have been more helpful  (and free meal voucher to help pass the time).  Good duty free, but I can't remember about the tv though as i usually read trashy mags and a good book instead !
