Has anyone who banks with Finansbank been able to setup automatic payment for their water bill now that it comes under Mugla? I have had a look at their online banking for setting up automatic payment, and whilst they have a water supplier under the name Mugla it is asking for an 11 digit account number. My water bills to date including the most recent (received last week) only has 8 digits!

I have my current account with Finansbank too and have seen the Mugla Water section in online payments.

However, I only went onto 'council water' in November and haven't had a water bill yet, so haven't tried paying yet!

Can you pay at any Fatura ?
TIA

You can.  But thats not to say you should.

At the end of the day they are agents, who don't actually work for either party!

Pay direct if you can, far safer.

There is an office in the street behind the PTT
Behind the main PTT (near migros) ?
Surely it backs on to the harbour ?

Yes the Ptt near Migros. At that point you're at the back of the culture centre, so not on the Kordon

Kevin we don't have a Turkish bank and pay all our bills at the Fatura opposite the Dolmus station in Fethiye.  Never had a problem, the husband and wife team who run it are always very accommodating and helpful.

With this link you can inquire your unpaid bills ( Normal Borçlar ) and paid bills ( Tahsilat Görüntüleme ).

http://www.muski.gov.tr/viewpage.php?page_id=3

1 ) You have to select "Abone No ile" and click "Devam Et" .

2 ) Select "Bölge" ( the area where you live ) from the pull-down menu.

3 ) Enter your "Abone No" ( subscription number ) , this you will find on your bill , 3 rd item from top left and click "Ara".

4 ) If you have an unpaid bill , you can pay it here on line with your credit card I remember. ( As I got our new bill a few hours ago , I Can't see a link for on line payment yet ).
