Looks like the high heid yins at HSBC have done a U turn on the potential sale of HSBC Turkey - because nobody wants to pay what they think its worth!

Statement made by CEO includes the key words restructuring and refocusing, which roughly translate into job cuts and branch closures.

I suppose I could take the selfish view that I am glad as an HSBC customer, in both Turkey and the UK, just so long as they keep the Fethiye Branch open. : :) : :)
