Cyprus our new holiday home
« on: July 15, 2017, 10:26:02 AM »
It finally happened we exchanged contracts on our property in Cyprus yesterday. The buying process take a little longer than in Turkey but we are looking forward to a new adventure.
It's not goodbye to Calis we still hope to visit and re-unite with the wonderful people we meet during the course of 11 years.
I will miss not being able to contribute to Embrace with my knitting but I will still be coming on here to contribute to the advent calendar hopefully Highlander is still able to do this, I always admire his commitment to raising money for worthy causes.
I will  look into the forum now and again to see how things are going in Calis and I truly hope business picks up because Calis is unique and it will always hold special memories for me.

Congratulations! I hope your new adventure is everything you've hoped for and more! You'll have to keep us all informed about how you're settling in, with lots of photos of course! Happy days. xx  8)

Hope you will be very happy,  Turkish or Greek side?  Just been watching one of those programmes where couples are looking for property abroad and it was on the Greek side of the Island.

Greek side Jacqui in a village called Tala just outside Paphos We must have looked at 50 properties but as soon as we pulled up outside we new it was for us Tala is a lovely clean village with a few restaurants all within walking distance but we have the added bonus that a small car was included with the property and surprisingly it is very cheap to run so we are delighted and cannot wait to get there in August.
