Can I Trouble You for Some Cash?
« on: June 24, 2018, 23:38:52 PM »
On the scrounge again  :)

There are families of Syrian refugees in and around Fethiye who the RAF (Refugee Aid Fethiye) group are trying to make a bit of a difference to those families who are trying make a new start after incredibly traumatic life journeys so far.

I thought that maybe those of us who have enjoyed great times and kindness when we visited Turkey might just want to help...

If anyone wants to assist, they need 4 washing machines ASAP - could you spare some cash for those who have nothing and have lost everything?

If you can, bless you - please donate at www.paypal.com   - make the payee keith@calis-beach.co.uk and jobs a good 'un.

A small pledge could make such a difference to people who are just like you, but just not as lucky as you.

Thanks.

Hi Keith - I'd like to donate but having had money taken from my Paypal account without my knowledge or permission I refuse to use Paypal. Is there any other way of donating?

Many thanks for the donations so far - great start.

If anyone wants confirmation of receipt please PM me as I don't want to list donors on here as some people don't want the publicity.

One more thing please - If you kindly donate, please do not use the words Syria or Syrian in your donation reason notes - Paypal shut RAF and my own accounts thinking perhaps that the money was to arm terrorists :o

Thank you all again, and to anyone considering donating, these poor people can flourish given the basics - we have a Syrian girl in Perth who fled with her family - she is now starting the same Media course next year that my daughter Robyn is on.

They just need a long deserved break.

Ok, I made it out to the gulen foundation for the overthrow of dictators, and signed it as Peter P. Kay.

And received with thanks.

All these years we've known each other and I still never have an idea who it is from. Your surname to me is, and always will be, F.
