If you make big purchases ie to furnish a new property do you pay by cash or not when using this store. I can't get used to the idea of taking a lot of cash around with me on such shopping sprees so it would be nice to know if there is an alternative.

Stuart
We paid by cash, you could always go to the bank just before paying for your purchases to get the money out. If you are that worried about carrying cash then I'm sure that Bekir would go with you to the bank for his payment. - He's a very amenable chap who speaks excellent English.
Our purchases from Bekir were under £1000 as the properties we bought were part furnished. It was easy for us as at that time you were allowed £500 out of the hole in the wall so with 2 different accounts it was no problem.
Bekir also held some smaller stuff for us until we came back with money - we wouldn't take it then & pay later.
I'm sure there are other ways. Not sure if you can use cards but after you know the prices we didn't have the heart to make him pay the extortionate rates the card companies want, never considered asking if we could pay by card.
