That sounds to me as though it's gone downhill since those days.  :)

Well we had a day trip to Hisaronu yesterday and won't be going back it was non stop hassle from shops beauty salons etc also felt very intimidated in one shop when we were trying to find a hoodie, we realised  Calis is tame in comparison and have now named it Harasonu, not trying to upset ny Husaronu lovers but was defo not for us :(

Hence the reason that we always refer to it as Hiroshima.  ;)

My better half remembers Hisaronu when it was nothing more than a road junction with a small pension, a couple of mangy dugs and selection of livestock.  Might even have some pictures somewhere, will try to look them out.

JF

Remember that too, and absolutel nothing in Olu apart from crofts as building wasn't allowed there.

Thankfully I have never felt the need to get off the dolmus to Olu Deniz at Hisaronu. That feeling is not going to change in the near future.

Strange how we all love Calis and don't have a high opinion of Hisaronu.   We would find it hard to swallow this review of Calis on T.A. last month.   To me is sounds much more like Hisaronu.

It's not strange at all Jacqui.

For me it's quite simple - I love Calis and hate Hisaronu.

Not all of us Jacqui. As far as I'm concerned Calis and Hisaronu are pretty much in the same league.

You've got to be joking KKOB! You cant possibly put the 2 in the same league . You need to go back for a holiday and check  them both out again. No comparisson IMHO.

 Thank God we're all different
I bought in Hisaronu because I love the place, the surrounding areas, and the places it's near to.
It's got a quarter mile strip that gets noisy from dusk 'til late, and a few places where people feel
the need to dance on Bars, and that's all some people seem to notice. In 10 years I have never
been hassled in the shops. You get hassled at the Monday Market but probably less than the
Tuesday Market. I've never been in a Kareoke Bar, I avoid noisy places anywhere, and I enjoy my
time in Hisaronu. I can walk a short distance up through the forest and look down on Oludeniz and
the lagoon. I can watch lovely sunsets over Kaya from my balcony, i'm getting homesick talking about it.
In my opinion the best thing about Calis is this Forum, the rest is very indifferent. But I don't go on about it.!!
People that don't like Hisaronu don't HAVE to go there, we'll try and manage without you.      ;)

That's my opinion after living in Kaya for 6 years Toky.

And yes, you're right, I do need a holiday. But when I get to go, I'll just be passing through Calis and Hisaronu.  ;)
