This warning this morning about Hisaronu A.T.M's
« on: July 16, 2017, 10:36:20 AM »
This is the message, What does everyone think.... I know what I think  ;D

----------------
A friendly(?) turkish man last night thought that he would help me at the cash machine.

The one by the fountain wasn't working so I went to the next one up on the other side of the road.

A turkish man was in front of me and then stayed to help me. He kept the screen in turkish, turned away while i entered my pin, but pressed some buttons and my pin flashed on the screen. Instantly i

knew something was up but it was too late. He had my card and pin number and vanished.

I instantly blocked the card but people should be aware.

Don't let anyone help you at the cash machines or they'll help themselves to your cash

Sounds about as valid as entering your pin backwards if you are threatened ..... :-\

I put my card into an ATM and then a Turkish man came up and ran away with the machine. Yes, honestly.

You wouldn't let anyone "help" you at an ATM in the UK. Why would you anywhere else ? Some people deserve to be robbed.

That's a bit harsh KKOB, nobody deserves to be robbed but sometimes things happen so quickly and you are stunned. A horrible thing to happen to anyone.

Exactly same thing happened to me in calis by taxi rank a few years back. And it was so fast I didn't get chance to do anything.

It won't happen fast, slow or at any pace if you don't let it start!!

"my pin flashed on the screen". What intrigues me is how do you get this to happen? Not that you need this in order to get someone's pin and card, of course ... not that I'm suggesting you would.

You can't.  It's why the "story" is a load of old bollox.
