I've been looking at Sky Online TV (Sky on the Go) - for a basic Bundle it starts from about £21 per month. Has anyone got this and if so what do you think about it and any advice

if you have a relative in the Uk who has the sky package you can nominate your laptop as one of the two you are allowed to register, use a proxy server to connect, you get the film channels sport films on demand etc. Use a hdmi cable to tv works very well.

wasnt aware you could register a laptop in another country for Sky. As my daughter has sky, can you tell me how I would do this and where do I found out about a proxy server. At present I only have 3 English channels and the rest arabic.... great joy :)
Would there be an additional cost to my daughters monthly payment?

Use Expat shield for your proxy server, as long as your daughter has a package which gives her free sky go desktop you will need her password and log on details, them log on through the proxy server, you can also download films from sky to desktop to watch within 1 month without internet connection.

Which is the best one to use, I downloaded the one from expatshield .com but am getting loads of adverts. says can upgrade to stop them but not sure if the other is better. Dont know whether to unimstall the .com one and use .co.uk version. Any advice greatly appreciated.
