Hi. We own a villa in Calis which we rent through a local agent. All is working out really well for us but I have heard that Turkey is changing the law on renting villa's. I can see that this is driven by income tax, but the rules seem very confusing and looks almost impossible to manage or implement from the UK.
Seems we need to register our villa as a business (how?), must notify the local police, send copies of guests passports to the police as each renter arrives and now we must use an accountant to pay tax rather than direct.
Anybody aware of this? Would appreciate some advise and guidance.
Thanks
