Title: Recommendations for Long-term Let?

Right, we've decided we definitely want to rent to begin with, for at least a year, rather than rushing into buying straight off.

Does anyone have any recommendations as to the best agents to talk to for long-term letting?
I've emailed Cenk & Olga at Interturk (haven't had a response yet) but I was hoping I could visit them and any others who are good to deal with when I'm over in a couple of weeks.

Or would you guys who have done it recommend finding a private landlord? I'm just wary of being taken in by the likes of Brian James.....

Any advice very welcome, as ever.  :-\

Hi, a neighbour of ours use  'Rainbow Property', in Calis.  http://www.rainbowpropertyrentals.com/.  They speak positive of this company.

You could try Sahibinden.com, and there is a ground floor apartment near us that has an agents sign on for rent, but I don't know if it would be just a winter let as there were people using it during the summer. It's with Asya, they have an office on Baris Manco Bulvari (the main road between Calis & Gunlukbasi). Tel: 0555 431 2720.

Sorry, I forgot to say where the apartment is that I mentioned. It's on Manzara's "Lilly Aparts", there are 4 in the block with a small pool. 1005 Sokak, just off Baris Manco, it's the street next to the scooter/bike shop. Good luck with your search.
