Back in june we had a look at a new small b/b hotel just about to open on 1 st july the owner invited us in to have a peep of what they will be offering , Well it was very nice indeed fridge mini bar bath robes a good size bedroom very smart indeed, the small pool area had a bar / outside seating area top quality sunbeds and thick mattresses very good looking all round.
.
THE SARDUNYA is just past the kirmin apartments up a small street looking towards the volley ball area or another way to point our behind the mangol or just around from the old scarletts bar , some very cheap rates for august September October this year and also for next year I see on a few sites and the hotel web .
any one looking for a quiet place 1 minuet from the water taxi its worth taking a look

It will be down to me blueclad but I am struggling to locate this place
Update the present Mrs H has put me straight - not for the first or last time I suspect

I know just where you mean blueclad because we stayed at the Kerim Apartments last October. Didn't realise they were thinking of opening a new hotel there, it must be literally next door to the apartments. Certainly if you want somewhere right in the centre within minutes of everything it's an ideal spot.

The area between the old Scarlett Bar and the back of the Mangal used to be a horrific looking dump for building materials and rubbish. Does this mean it's all cleared up and nice now? Haven't walked that way since we lived there. It was pretty prime land totally wasted.

most of the old empty small buildings were started being done up in june when we were in calis , the corner was still a bit scruffy BUT turn the corner Sardunya looks quite smart . best rooms pool view look towards the bay of fethiye the few back rooms not so good as the rear of mangol is gross
yes Marina your spot on where it is.
highlander booking . com has lots of photos for your perusal ;) you can also see the roof and a few back rooms from gunisik straight ahead over the ATM,S

I saw the photos blueclad - looks OK but I did notice this on the website
"You will pay the hotel in the hotel’s local currency (TL). The displayed amount (in GBP) is indicative and based on today’s exchange rate."
I'm not sure what that means.

The description on Booking.com has it 900 yards from the beach?

Other distances surprised me......
Dalaman 18 miles
Kayakoy 6 miles
Until I read that distances quoted were in a straight line :) .
Can't see the point of that.
