Guide to prices for hotels in the area
« on: February 28, 2011, 17:46:37 PM »
Hi folks me again the newly eager Calis enthusiast lol

Having decided to at least look in to putting my own holiday together for the first time ever I have been looking at hotels and prices in the area.

I have found so far that none of the hotels websites display prices is this not the done thing in Turkey?

I have emailed a couple of hotels in question and been given prices dates 28 May-04 June:

Golden Moon 30gbp per room per night B&B =£210
Oykun Hotel 18gbp per night in may, 24gbp per night in june B&B=£144

Have emailed back to ask if this includes air con and to ask about HB prices also.  Still got a couple of hotels to price up

Any feedback on the prices would be welcome
Thanks
Siobhan  :)

Golden Moon looks expensive at those rates. To be honest the Oykun is a better hotel, has two adult pools, a bigger bar, better breakfasts, and staff who are easily the measure of those at the Golden Moon: we've stayed at both and keep going back now to the Oykun. Have a look at my reply to your post in one of the other forums about self-book/package also. We arrive 5 June so we'll miss you, whichever you choose have a great hol. Just think what you could spend that £66 on.........

You should email the Mutlu, that's a lovely Hotel right on the prom.  We have friends who always stay there.

@Highlander the Oykun is per room I was quoted 9gbp per person per night for May

@Anne I dont normally go HB but am really watching the cash on this hol so thought it might be good to have the security of knowing that what spends I take can pay for whatever and I will always be able to eat

@Jacqui havent heard of them will go google them thanks

If you book your hotel via www.travelruepublic.co.uk or www.onthebeach.co.uk you usually get better rates than booking direct.
