I am the only karaoke compere in the country that is tone deaf can't sing a word of music and actually hate to listen to people, having said that as a second job it has paid for a place in Turkey, so you can take my advice. I steer clear of karaoke bars

here we go again... its time  for the Calis ites   to knock `Hisaronu` again. We have been here before with similar  posts...Hisaronu is Blackpool
we have had an apartment there since 2003, so I think I  know a little about the area.... Hisaronu truly caters for all tastes... its  `lively` but rarely rowdy, and is not  a Blackpool.   If you walk around there at  night you will find most  couples average age is about 50, and generally a nice selection of brits... yes there are one or two `egg and chips` type places... but there are  class  restaurants  there, and  many  in romantic settings and far  outnumbering the english breakfast type places.. and yes  it  can be loud at night from   10pm onwards, down the main road, but there are some super quiet eating and drinking establishments  down the quiet backwaters off the main drag.  During the daytime  you can hear a pin drop its that quiet.. but here is the real plus we have in Hisaronu...
The beautiful scenery  we have around us  ( unlike  the   flat  marshy Calis  )literally on our doorstep  we have lovely walks in the forest on on our doorstep.
Also the temperature is cooler  in the  heat of the summer  with  the  `Hisaronu breeze`...  and the real  bonus is we are  literally  8 minutes  by Dolmus to the  georgeous Olu Deniz for chill out time   mmmmmmmmm
and if we like   20  minutes by dolmus  to Fethiye. So I would say  location wise  Hisaronu has it all.
Perhaps thats why the property prices are higher in Ovachek and Hisaronu ?
No... we havent a beach ( but then  OLU DENIZ has, minutes away )  and its clean .. unlike  the  beach at Calis.
So dont keep knocking Hisaronu with the `its loud and its  like blackpool and there`s nothing more  )  mention  for once  the plusses we  have  !!
Take a good  look around you  please  you Calis dwellers.. not everyone thinks   Calis is Shangri La  far from it...  like many of my  english ( and turkish ) friends have quoted in  the past  " the best part of Calis is the  boat trip  taxi  to  get there !!  )

ps...  and we dont have any germans  in Hisaronu  either

oh Sleuth - chill out, people have given their opinion and reading through most of it was quite positive - there's something for everyone. Sometimes I think you like to stir up trouble.

I am theorising on behalf of the majority of  english people on holiday..`generalising`  of course there are good and bad..   lets be honest here... the germans like to have germans  around them... thats the way it is, and thats the way its always been.  We all `gel`  with  our  hosts  the  turkish people, but if you ask most english  people  `we mix and socialise with  the turks and  fellow  brits` on holiday.

Brummy Boy...  get off  my  back... your always  trying to take pot shots  at  me... and twist my comments around... you know exactly what I   mean  about germans.

ok Brummyboy   no probs... :)   done  !!     a truce it is...  :)  and  lets  hope  B`HAM , the  VILLA  and the ALBION   avoid the drop   at the end of the season...  particularly  WBA   I  have footie friends  who support  them

I also have neighbours who are  life long Wolves fans   who are hoping to make play offs... so unless  your  a Walsall  fan,  I   reckon  your team  must be in there  , anyway  good  luck to them

Sleuth you are on your way to having yet another topic locked! Just accept that people are entitled to their own opinions - its a free country for goodness sake! I really like Hisaronu but I'm not going to argue with those who don't, Blackpool is the most visited seaside resort in Britain and I hate it.Chill out and learn to live with the fact that your opinion isn't the only one that matters.
And get back on topic whats football got to do with this thread!?
