i look at this site most days since visiting calis last year we nearly bought a property whilst there. We were staying in Oludeniz but estate agents showed us the property. parents were going to put some money in to it but decided that it was not quite right for them. so i dream of one day being able to afford our own bit of paradise. We have been visiting Turkey for a few years now and love it. This year we are going to Kamelya world Side. Although i think that i will be returning to the fethiye region next year. Might have won the lottery by then. I have 2 children boys aged 12 and 9 and am married to mark.

Hello Debbie

We bought this year and we did not have a big budget by the standard that others have.

We went to Side on our second trip to Turkey and we loved the place, the beaches are glorious. If you are interested in history it is fantastic and only yesterday I was telling someone how we walked on roman mosaic tiled pavements when we walked to the market, I have not seen anything yet that generally equals Side for that element.

I am really writing to say that if you have a chance to go on the Cappadoccia trip - it is a must. (pardon me if you have already done this) it can be booked cheaper in the town if you want and again I have never seen anything to equal it. It includes the Goreme underground museum and a visit to the Mevlana museum (home of the whirling dervish)and the tomb of Mevlana himself. We travelled the silk road and saw amazing things and the fairy chimneys are stunning.  Do not miss it.

Have a lovely time in Side and perhaps we will meet in Calis some time.

Teresa
