We'd only ever been to Marmaris before, but decided to look at Calis with the intention of buying, mainly because of this forum. We visited Calis in February, when it was freezing, and still loved it. Nowhere near as big as Marmaris, but a similar sand and shingle beach [more shingle than sand]. It has the advantage of being near to Fethiye; a lovely town, Olu Deniz with it's glorious sandy beach and Hisaronu for night-life if you want busy, so you can move to Calis and have it all!!! Contact Scunner [Keith] or Xanadu [Heidi] to arrange a fest of viewings and you won't go wrong. Unfortunately we won't be around in April, but I'm sure we'll meet up some-time, 'cos there's no contest between Calis and Marmaris!!!!
