This company in Olu Deniz is run by one of the nicest couples I have ever met over here. Activities Unlimited have a wide range of trips. They do tranfers Hire cars and accomodation. I hope that Natalie and Ertan do well they deserve it. Their office is at the side of the Karbel Hotel in Olu Deniz. tel 02526170601:D

So does this mean everytime someone mentions a company doing tours we have to be told by members if they sold trips to the dolphin pool. Keith has already started a topic telling us which companies were involved, I for one do not want to see lots of topics hijacked and turned into another dolphin topic. I fully supported the work done to free the dolphins both verbally and finacially.
as Anne says the people at Activities Unlimited are nice people and support the Calis Childrens Charity.
On a personal note I have a number of bars, shops and establishments I choose not to frequent because they have in the past refused to support the 3CCCs

You have chosen not to name the bars who have refused to support the 3C charity (3CCC is 9C by the way!) and that is of course your right to do so. I just wanted to say, setting aside the meanness of that, what a bunch of idiots they must be - bars were always desperate to have us hold a charity event in their place - it's the best way to pack your place out there is!
Plenty more willing ones I'm sure.

Thankfully Keith there are some great establishments supporting the 3Cs events for which we are very grateful ;) and hopefully they gain some good publicity from these well attended events in return :)

I dont think it does any harm, especially at this time of year, just to remind people exactly which callous tour companies were prepared to make a buck out of the dolphins misery

I agree, but I think the point Mark is making is that more comes from being positive and promoting/supporting those who didn't, rather than concentrating on those who did.

I already know that AU in both Hisaronu and Oludeniz don't like me for persisting that they clarify their position last year over the sale of swim with dolphins so I have nothing left to lose by saying this.
Activities Unlimited in Oludeniz were selling tickets to swim with dolphins last year - we had one of our very reliable and trustworthy scouts - also a member of this forum check them out repeatedly.
As far as I am aware the AU Hisaronu branch did not sell swim with dolphins and that Denise and the name of one of their staff (also a forum member) whose escapes me were against the Hisaronu Dolphin Park from the outset.
It was rather unfortunate that AU Hisaronu wouldn't explain that there are different "owners" of the different branches and its not my business but that was their choice and it naturally led to speculation that tarred them with the same brush and not just by me.
And as Mark said there is already a topic on who did and who didn't sell swim with dolphins; it seems to me this might have been better left alone.

as Nichola says Activities Unlimited in Oludeniz WERE selling tickets to swim with dolphins last year ... and as Nichola says the one in Hisaronu wasnt .... i know ... they tried to sell me the tickets last year.

I was not a scout but they were selling the opportunity to swim with M and T and tried to confuse this site with bull bock ;)

The new owner who works at Activities unlimited is called Natalie her husband is called Ertan and they have done huge amounts of work raisinglots of money for the children in Olu Deniz and are actively helping the 3 CCC's now. I was doing my best in return to help them out. I did not intend to get into an argument about the dolphins.
