Garantibank money transfer limit.

I am having some work done to our villa and need to transfer some lira to another bank.  The internet app only allows 1000tkl per day. This is woefully small amount at the moment.
I have been trying to phone the branch from England to get the limit raised, but cannot get anyone who speaks english.  I'm still trying.
Someone mentioned Transferwise.  Does anyone here know about this? Is it an app? Does it only use other currencies? Can I get some help from the wonderful people on CBF?

I use wise ( formerly TransferWise) it’s app based but you can apply for a physical card that can be used in Turkey in the shops on the Dolmus etc. you can set it up to use exchange to lots of different currencies, and send money direct to your Garanti account or any other bank account or direct to another wise account.
The exchange rate today is 21.59

Thank you for the advice.  I've set myself up with Wise now.
The Garanti staff insist on a personal appearance to raise the daily limit. Alo Garanti can do nothing, they suggested a FAX but Fethiye branch fax does not answer.

Hope all goes smoothly. I find that if you start the transfer in the morning it’s usually in the account you’re sending to within the hour.
