I and others are have a real problem this year with water pressure to the head tank and bathrooms at our villas. My villa is near the Turquaz Garden in Koca Calis. After numerious requests to Ciflik water people all we get is "demand is high so low pressure" has anyone else had this problem and any ideas what can be done. Help please

Tends to happen most days in Koca. You learn to live with it but it can be a pain when you want a shower in the morning sometimes. Much better than a few years back though when the water and electric often went awol completely for a few hours a day.

We've had the opposite in our apartment block (not in Calis) , ours has been too high and causing all sorts of plumbing problems, burst pipes , leaks etc., they have now installed a pressure regulator on the mains water inlet, well done that developer. ;)

One of the joys of being in Koca area of Turkey. Electric is up and down in the evenings as well. No problem just wash when water pressure is high and chill.Baby wipes come in handy.

We had the same thing a couple of weeks ago, burst pipe in our house (Baris Manco) agent told me the water pressure has been increased?
-
we had low pressure got a larger tank on the roof done the job great ps see bayram

hi all thanks for the info Bob what do you mean see bayram? I have been told that a new pump is going in up the mountain that should increase flow but this will take 3 months.

It's the pressure from the mains that is the problem. If you fit a larger tank it will only help when it's full - not when the water pressure is low coming from the mains as it will take ages to fill up.

We also had this problem of low water pressure to our villa. But the kind people at the Ciftlik Belediye installed us a new mains water pipe,it took 2 men 1 hour 50 minutes to install and they charged 1,125tl,nice work if you can get it !

I think I will keep quiet and not complain too much! It's been much better this year for us anyway - unless we have just learned to live with it after 7 years :)

We have been quoted 5,000 YTL for a supply which would feed 4 villas. From the new cobbled road, past Turkuaz hotel to the villas.
Sounds expensive but if it solves the problem, it may be worth it.
Just how bad do people think the problem is ?
Gary - could you contact me by email so I can discuss your contacts at the Belediye.
