Fixtures for the new Lig 2 season were announced this afternoon.Fethiyespor start with an away match on Sept 6th at Konya Selcukspor were they managed a 2=1 win last season.The first home game is against Bandirmaspor on Sept 13th,who finished up 2nd in their Lig 2 group last season and lost in the play off semi finals.

Fethiyespor have announced a home pre season friendly against Super Lig side Bursaspor.The match is this Friday with a 20.OO KO.However dont expect a full strength Bursa team as they have a Super Lig match in Istanbul on Saturday night against Medipol Basaksehir.

Fethiyespor rounded off their pre-season with a rather tame 1-1 draw at home to Bucaspor.The Fethiyespor starting eleven contained only 2 players from the team that started the last match of last season, goalkeeper Metin Erol and captain Emre Okur.Fethiye opened the scoring on the hour mark with a header from Okur, last seasons top scorer.However Buca managed an equaliser with 2 minutes left to play.
Fethiye achieved 2 wins,2 draws and 1 defeat from their 5 pre-season games.The first game of the season is an away game at Konya next weekend.

Just in time for the new season,which kicks off on Saturday afternoon,Fethiyespor have the new season replica strips for sale in the club shop.This season Fethiyespor will mainly be playing in the classic,blue and white strip,the Real Madridesque all white strip, or the very fetching pink strip.The shirts are 80 TL each.

Yabanci do you know if the shirts come in sizes for the bigger person as not the smallest and wouldn't mind buying a shirt.

I saw one XL and one XXL Pompeylee but most of the shirts were small,medium or large.

Fethiyespor got their new season off to the perfect start with a 1=0 away win at Konya Anadolu Selcukspor.Giving debuts to 6 of their 15 transfer window signings and wearing their fetching lucky pink strip there were no goals in the 1st half.Last seasons top scorer Emre Okur scored 5 mins into the second half and thats the way it stayed.
A much tougher match next for Fethiye,at home to Bandirmaspor next Sunday evening.Bandirmaspor finished 2nd in their league last season and lost in the play off semi finals.

According to the clubs website tickets are 20 tl for the main stand by the Tuesday market place.10 tl for the Maraton stand opposite,and 5 lira behind the goal.With it being an evening KO you will have no worries about the sun regarding where you sit. :)

The good start to the season did'nt last very long for Fethiyespor as they crashed to a 3-1 home defeat against Bandirmaspor this evening.The visitors took the lead from a free kick after 26 mins but Fethiye equalised 6 mins later when Aytac Deniz fired home.Just after the start of the 2nd half Fethiye had a glorious chance to take the lead but Emre Okur stabbed the ball wide.That miss was to prove costly as Bandirma regained the lead on 57 mins and on 78 mins got a third goal when keeper Erol came rushing out of his area but missed his challege to allow the Bandirma forward to score.
Fethiye are now 8th in the league with an away game at nearish neighbours Nazilli next weekend.

Fethiyespor lost their second match in three games when they went down 2-0 away at Nazilli this afternoon.After a goal less first half, Nazilli opened the scoring on 66 mins with a penalty and added a second in stoppage time at the end of the second half.
Fethiye are now down to 13th in the league with 3 points.They are in action again on Tuesday afternoon with a 2nd Round Zirrat Cup match away at Lig 1 side Denizlispor.

Fethiyespor made it 3 defeats in 3 games as they went out of The Ziraat Cup losing at Denizlispor this afternoon.They did manage to take the match to penalties with the score 0=0 after 120 mins.However their poor finishing(only 2 goals in 390 minutes of football so far this season)showed up as they missed their first 3 penalties while Denizli scored all theirs.
Another tough league game at home on Sunday evening as they host Hacettepe from Ankara who are 4th in the league and have scored 6 goals in their 3 league games this season.KO is at 20.00.

Fethiyespor put in a much improved performance this evening to hold high flying Hacettepe 0-0.The first half was dire, with the only event of note being a 10 min break due to a partial floodlight failure.At the start of the second half Fethiye made a double substitution with Aytac Deniz coming on down the left wing and Hakan Kutlu on the right and for most of the half it was all Fethiye.The closest they got was an attempt that grazed the crossbar, and nearly grabbed a late winner with 4 consecutive corners in injury time.
The draw keeps Fethiye in 13th place with an away game at 10th placed Kahramanmarasspor next weekend.

Fethiyespor lost again this afternoon going down 3-0 away at Kahramanmarasspor, their 3rd league defeat of the season. Also it means Fethiye have now gone over 400 mins of football since they last scored a goal.The hosts went 1-0 up just before half time with a penalty.Former Fethiye striker Emre Ozturk made it 2-0 on the hour mark and the hosts got their 3rd on 90 mins.Fethiye remain 14th in the league with 4pts from 5 games.
A home game next weekend with Anadolu Uskudar the visitors, from Istanbul.Expect a goal-fest as these 2 teams are the lowest scorers in the league with 2 each from their 5 games so far. :)

Fethiyespor secured their 2nd win of the season beating Pendikspor 3=1 away this afternoon.Aytac Deniz opened the scoring for Fethiye after 20 mins before Pendik were reduced to 10 men, 6 mins later.Emre Okur got a 2nd, 5 mins before half time and Yildirim added a 3rd goal after 54 mins.Pendik got a consolation goal on 62 mins,before Fethiye themselves were reduced to 10 men on 90 mins when Mert Er Estik got a second yellow card.
Fethiye move up to 12th on 7 points one place behind next weeks visitors Bayrampasa from Istanbul.

Fethiyespor won their first home game of the season and their second win in two games by beating a very average Bayrampasa side 1-0 this evening.Fethiye took the lead on 33 mins when defender Bayram Cetin diverted an Aytac Deniz free-kick into the net.Despite several chances in the 2nd half Fethiye had to endure a nervy last 10 mins or so in the pouring rain, but managed to shut the visitors out, and claim the 3 points.
Fethiye move up to 9th in the table and are away to bottom side Pazarspor next weekend.

Fethiyespor came away from their long trip up to the Black Sea town of Rize with a 1=1 draw against bottom of the league Pazarspor.The hosts took the lead after 71 mins but Fethiye levelled with 1 min of normal time remaining through substitute Ugur Erdogan (no relation),who scored his first goal for the club since signing in the summer.Onur Acar received a 2nd yellow card in injury time to reduce Fethiye to 10 men but they held on for the draw.
Fethiye move down to 10th in the league but have a home game on Tuesday afternoon against Anadolu Uskudar which was postponed a couple of weeks ago.KO is 13.30.

Fethiyespor extended their unbeaten run to 4 games by beating Anadolu Uskudur 2=1 at home this afternoon.The visitors from Istanbul had the ball in the net after a free kick on 7 mins but the referee gave offside.After that Anadolu looked like the team who would score but it was Fethiye who took the lead just on half time when Aytac Deniz fired in after a mistake from an Anadolu defender.
In the second half, 2nd from bottom Anadolu still took the game to Fethiye and got an equaliser after 53 mins.Fethiye thought they had a second goal from a corner 2 mins later but the referee disallowed that one for a foul on the keeper.However Aytac Deniz got his 2nd goal on the hour mark and Fethiye held on to claim the 3 points.
Fethiye move up to 8th on 14 points and are at home again on Saturday to 4th placed Menemen from Izmir.

Fethiyespor extended their unbeaten run to 5 games after drawing 2=2 at home to Menemen this afternoon.Fethiye had a great start,with Aytac Deniz scoring in under 2 mins after a mistake from a Menemen defender.The visitors from Izmir came roaring back,hitting the post after 7 mins,then scoring twice in 7 mins in the 14th and 21st minutes.Fethiye managed to get back on level terms on 35 mins when striker Ugur Erdogan got his second goal of the season.
The 2nd half was pretty mundane compared to the 1st and the match remained at 2=2.Fethiye remain in 8th and have another midweek game,this time away in Istanbul to 3rd placed Sariyer,on Wednesday afternoon.

Fethiyespor managed a very creditable 1=1 draw this afternoon in Istanbul against high flying Sariyer.Fethiye took the lead on 37 mins when midfielder Onur Acar scored his 1st goal for the club.The hosts drew level after 66 mins but that point extends the clubs unbeaten run to 6 games.Fethiye are down to 9th in the league but are at home to Bugsas on Sunday who are 3 points and 3 places above Fethiye.

Fethiyespor missed a glorious chance to move into the play off places when they only managed a 0-0 draw at home to Bugsasspor this afternoon.Fethiye welcomed back captain and last seasons top scorer Emre Okur after 3 games out injured, and lining up in a 4-3-3 formation were much the better team in the 1st 20 mins.
The games turning point came on 27 mins when Tunay Acar's head clashed with Baykals boot which got the Bugsas player a straight red card.After that Fethiye lost their way and facing 2 banks of 4 orange shirts playing deep in their own half, looked clueless as to how to put pressure on the visitors keeper.
The best chance fell to Aytac Deniz after 75 mins when he broke through the defence but put his shot wide.Bugsas were reduced to 9 men on 87 mins but still managed to see out the 5 mins of injury time.Fethiye move down to 10th in the league, still 3 points behind Bugsas in 5th and have a long away trip next weekend to 8th placed Hatayspor.

Fethiyespor made it 8 games unbeaten with a 3=2 away victory against Hatayspor this afternoon.Fethiye were 1=0 up at half time thanks to Ugur Erdogans 3rd goal of the season on 35 mins.Further goals from Bayram Cetin and top scorer Aytac Deniz(his 6th of the season)made the game safe for Fethiye,but the hosts managed to pull 2 goals back,despite going down to 10 men for the last 13 mins of time.
Fethiye move up to 9th in the league,but are only 3 points behind 3rd placed Sariyer.A tough home game next weekend to current league leaders Umraniyespor from Istanbul.

4 wins and 4 draws in the last 8 games Sleuth.However I think the next 4 games should give us an indication as to whether Fethiyespor can mount a promotion challenge this season, as they have to play 3 of the current top 4 in these matches.

Fethiyespors 8 match unbeaten run came to an end this afternoon as they lost 1=0 at home to league leaders Umraniyespor.The visitors from Istanbul looked the better side in the 1st half but without creating any clear cut chances bar one header over the bar.In the 2nd half Fethiye looked much the better team and Aytac Deniz saw a shot hit the top of the bar,Erdogan a shot off the post and Deniz again shooting tamely at the keeper when clean through.
Just as it looked like Fethiye were going to claim a hard won point,Umraniye broke away and scored in the 92nd minute to maintain their unbeaten record and stay top of the league.Fethiye are back down to 10th and are at home again next weekend to 6th placed Kirklarelispor

Fethiyespor came from behind twice to earn a hard fought 3=3 draw away at Orduspor this afternoon, and so preserve their unbeaten record away from home thats lasted since October 4th.The hosts opened the scoring on 38 mins,but goals either side of the half time break from centre half Bayram Cetin and right winger Hakan Kutlu put Fethiye 2=1 ahead.Ordu who were the leagues lowest goalscorers with only 11 all season hit Fethiye with a brace of goals midway through the second half to go 3=2 up.Then in the 82 min forward Ugur Erdogan got his 4th goal of the season to earn Fethiye a point.
Fethiye stay in 10th place in the league,5 points off a play off place,and have another tough looking home fixture next weekend against joint league leaders Istanbulspor.

Fethiyespor went into the winter break with a creditable 1-1 draw against league leaders Istanbulspor this afternoon. The games only goals came in a 3 minute spell midway through the 2nd half, Istanbul scoring 1st, but Bayram Cetin equalising shortly afterwards.
Fethiye remain 10th on 22 points and are at home again on January 17th against Konya.The club will also be looking for a new manager following the resignation of Ahmet Yildirim during the week.

For the 3rd time,Fethiyespor have appointed Beyhan Caliskan as their new manager.The 55 year old who guided Fethiyespor to the Lig 2 play off final in May 2012 has signed a one and a half year contract with the club.Since leaving Fethiyespor for the 2nd time in 2014 he has been the manager of Lig 3 side Orhangazispor from Bursa.

Fethiyespor return to league action this Sunday following their winter break,hoping to make up ground on the play off places.Currently they are in 10th some six points behind 5th placed Sariyer.Fethiye host Konya Selcukspor but are playing their home game at Mugla's Ataturk Stadium as the pitch,which was relaid during the break is not ready yet.Kick off is 13.30.

Fethiyespor produced a fine 2nd half performance to beat Konya 3-0 this afternoon.Things looked bleak for the hosts on the stroke of half time when Mert Er Estik got a red card and the visitors got a penalty.However keeper Metin Erol saved the spot kick and the teams went in 0-0 at half time.
In the second half a brace of goals from Emre Okur,who also got the winner for Fethiye in the reverse fixture earlier in the season,set Fethiye on the road to victory followed by a strike from sub Ugur Erdogan,15 mins from time.Fethiye remain in 10th place in the league on 25 pts and have an away game at Bandirmaspor next weekend who are 4 places and 3 points ahead of Fethiye.

After winning 3-0 last week Fethiye went down to a 3-0 defeat, away at Bandirmaspor this afternoon.It was Bandirma's striker Haci Mustafa Karabulut who cast a black cloud over Fethiye's afternoon with a goal in both halfs,the second time he has scored 2 against Fethiye this season.Former Fethiye player Ekrem Saricam scored the other goal just before half time.
Fethiye move down to 11th in the league changing places with next weeks opponents Nazilli who won 1-0 today.

Fethiyespor got back to winning ways with a hard fought 1-0 win over local rivals Nazilli this afternoon.The visitors were by far the better team in the first half,especially at set pieces,having one corner tipped over by the keeper,and another coming off the crossbar.However 13 mins from time Fethiye got a free kick just outside the Nazilli penalty box that Hakan Kutlu curled into the top right hand corner of the visitors goal,his 2nd goal of the season.
Fethiye held on for the 3 points which take them up to 9th in the league.An away game in the capital next weekend against 4th placed Hacettepe.

Fethiyespor suffered their 2nd 3-0 defeat away from home since the season restarted when they lost in Ankara this afternoon to Hacettepe.They were undone by the hosts 20 year old right back Alaaddin Okumus who scored a hat-trick,his goals coming on 34,52 and 90 mins.Fethiye move down to 10th in the league and are at home to Kahramanmarspor next weekend,who are 2 places and 4 points behind Fethiye.

Fethiyespor dropped a couple of home points this afternoon with a drab 0-0 against Kahramanmaras.Fethiye had the better first half but without creating any real chances.The second half was not much better although Emre Okur shot straight at the keepers legs when clean through on goal and Huseyin Atalay had a header from a corner cleared off the line.
Fethiye remain 10th on 29 points and are away in Istanbul next weekend to 2nd from bottom side Anadolu Uskudar.

After throwing away 2 points last week,Fethiyespor threw away all 3 this week going down 3-1 at Anadolu Uskudarspor.The hosts went ahead on 34 mins before Hakan Kutlu pulled Fethiye level after 51 mins.However Anadolu scored a further 2 times to record only their third league win of the season.
Fethiye remain 10th in the league,8 points adrift of the last play-off place.They are at home next weekend to Pendikspor who are currently one point and one place above Fethiye.

Fethiyespor recorded their biggest win of the season thumping Pendikspor 4-0 this afternoon.Emre Okur scored a brace in the first half in which Hakan Kutlu also hit the underside of the crossbar.On 64 mins Pendik were reduced to 10 men when former Fethiye player Ramiz Ok was sent off for handball on the goal-line.Aytac Deniz converted the penalty before Bekir Ozan scored his 1st goal for the club on 90 mins.
Fethiye move up to 9th in the table on 32 points,and are back to Istanbul next weekend to play Bayrampasa who are 15th with 21 points.

Fethiyespor's poor away form continues following a 1-0 defeat in Istanbul to Bayrampasa this afternoon.Thats 4 away defeats on the trot for Fethiye and you have to go back to Nov 22nd for their last away win.A goal after 7 minutes was enough for the hosts to take the 3 points and see Fethiye move back down to 10th in the league.
A home game next for Fethiye against Pazarspor from Rize on the Black Sea who are currently second from bottom.

Well you didnt miss much Trainer,as lowly Pazarspor who had only won 3 times all season, inflicted the first home defeat in 6 matches for a lack-lustre Fethiyespor this afternoon.Fethiyespor started brightly with Bekir Ozan clean through after only 3 mins,only to shoot straight at the keeper.On 7 mins Fethiye were ahead with Hakan Kutlu scoring for the hosts.Despite numerous promising attacks the final ball into the box was stopping Fethiye adding to their lead.
After 37 mins Pazar pulled level with a penalty which was needlessly given away,with the Pazar playing going away from goal when fouled.Fethiye were poor in the 2nd half and it was no suprise when the visitors went ahead with 12 mins to go and they were able to hold on and take the 3 points.Fethiye are down to 11th in the league and are away next Saturday to 6th placed Menemen(not the best one in Calis though. ;))

Manager Beyhan Caliskan paid the price for Friday's home defeat to lowly Pazarspor by leaving his post by mutual consent.The 55 year old had only been in charge for just over 3 months and in his 9 games so far,had won 3, drawn 1, and lost 5.

Not yet Kevin,as Fethiyespor's poor away form continued with a 1-0 defeat at nearish neighbours Menemen Belediyespor this afternoon.Fethiye at least went in all square at half time,but a goal after 70 mins was enough for the men from Izmir.Fethiye remain in mid-table on 32 points,13 points off the play offs and 13 points off the relegation spots.

Fethiyespor celebrated its 83rd birthday with a creditable 0-0 draw at home to 3rd placed Sariyer this afternoon.In a game of few clear cut chances,Fethiye just about shaded it,with the Sariyer goalie having to tip over a Bekir Ozan shot in the first half and an Aytac Deniz free kick in the second.The best chance for Sariyer was a deflected free kick early in the second half that Fethiye's keeper pushed round the post.
Fethiye remain 11th in the league with 33 points but with only 1 win in 8 games are starting to look over their shoulders to the teams in the bottom three.Fethiye are away in Ankara on Sunday with a game against 8th placed Bugsas.

Fethiyespor lost in Istanbul this afternoon to Lig 2 champions in waiting Umraniyespor who made it 6 wins in their last 6 games as they close in on promotion to Lig 1.The hosts went ahead after 2 mins and doubled their lead after 64 mins.Fethiye threatened a comeback when Umraniye were reduced to 10 men with Ugur Erdogan netting from the resultant penalty,however parity was restored with 5 mins to go when Rivdan Turker received a 2nd yellow card and the game finished 2-1.
Fethiye are away again next weekend as they travel to play Kirklarelispor who are in 7th place and 11 points better off than Fethiye.

Fethiyespor did better than that AOK,by recording their 5th away win of the season by beating Kirklarelispor 2-1 this afternoon and putting a big dent in their hosts play-off ambitions.However they did receive help from their hosts who opened the scoring for them with an own goal after 7 mins.Ugur Erdogan made it 2-0 after 22 mins before Kirklareli pulled a goal back from a penalty after 34 mins,but just before half time home midfielder Sefa Aksoy was sent off.
There were no further goals in the game so Fethiye move onto 40 points but remain in 11th place.The last home game of the season next weekend when Fethiye play already relegated,bottom side Orduspor.

Fethiyespor won their final home game of the season beating Orduspor 3-0 this afternoon.The game was played in front of a very sparse crowd and only really came to life 5 minutes before half time when the visitors were reduced to 10 men.On the stroke of half time Fethiye were awarded a penalty for handball and Ugur Erdogan scored his 2nd spot kick in 2 weeks.
The 2nd half saw Fethiye hand a debut to 17 year old Enes Dada(of whom big things are expected)for the last 15 minutes.As the 10 men of Ordu tired in the heat, Fethiye added 2 further goals in the last 10 mins,from Hakan Kutlu and a debut goal from Serdar Yesil.
Fethiye move up to 9th and finish their season next weekend with an away game at 2nd placed Istanbulspor.

And another well earned point for Fethiyespor as they finished off their season with a creditable 0-0 draw against play-off bound, Istanbulspor yesterday.7 points from the last 3 games and just 1 defeat in the last 7,as AOK said its a pity the season has ended.
So Fethiyespor finish 10th in the league on 44 points with 11 wins,11 draws and 12 defeats.They were 11 points clear of the relegation zone and 11 points off the final play off place.
