As we are thinking of moving out to Calis next year I was trawling through the web and came across a interesting web site www.intlmovers.com this site can put you in touch with international removal companies that operate a door to door service (UK ~ Calis/Fethiye)
One quotation we had was for a dedicated 20ft container, door to door including customs clearance etc £3500 - £4000. the company was Doree Bonner.
If your thinking of bringing over your worldly possessions give it a try!!

The average price for a 20 foot container D2D is £2,500. They can't quote you for the cost of customs clearance until you declare the contents of the container and the Turkish customs rip it apart and decide how much they want to sting you for.

dont bring your goods
that price is what you will pay for new items here in turkey
friends have used this service but beware charges at customs
have a car boot/garage sale and just bring you personal items you cannot live without
if you save on these costs you can fly uk to and fro to pick up stuff from family,friends
