We cannot pay our water bill by direct debit, but as its not much and more importantly they do not cut you off we just pay whenever is convenient.

Never managed to pay my Electrickery by DD. Have been cut off once due to us merrily thinking we had payed and nothing going through so now I ask my good friends at Orange to check the bills online and then go and pay my bill for me. Hope to change my bank this summer so hopefully this will remedy the situation.

Hi Norm

They don't actually send the bill to the bank but when they read the meter their little machine they put the reading in with account no etc can go through to the bank and the money automatically gets paid.
Same with Tedas elecricity.
The garanti online banking is in english so was very easy to set up.
