Driving back from our European 'road trip' last week & heading towards the Eceabat/Çanakkale ferry we were pleased to see that the memorial to the 1213 Turkish soldiers from the area who died during the Gallipoli battles has now been restored to a good condition, it's worth stopping for a look if you're passing, on the way to Troy, Gallipoli or beyond.
